I'm in BHW for over a year now, only reading and basically doing nothing besides gathering ideas. Next month i am going to graduate and going to be unemployed, because i don't like my studies and like IM things more than anything. And i don't want to end up working as a janitor..
I have some questions and i am seeking for help with my plan and ideas, so any help and information would be greatly appreciated
My plan: Make a website/portal/blog/whatever that gets free local traffic (at least 10k uniques a day). Probably SEO for high traffic no/low competition junk keywords (if there are any).
Monetization: Monthly plans of PPV ads, full screen ads, pop-up ads. Monetization would be easiest part of this plan if i had that traffic.
Things to consider: Not to waste time for high competition keywords.
Use my old fb fanpage for extra traffic.
Any junk traffic counts. As long as it's local traffic.
Probably a very very broad niche. Currently thinking about dating/music search/news autoblog all in one portals..
Why this method?: A year ago there was a thing called like-jacking (most of you know it). Couple of local dudes here made some $ selling fans to ppl for as little as 10$ for 20-80k fans. It was easy thing to do even i tried it. It could stack up to 250k of fans not more (because there are 600k facebook users in my country and not everyone fell for like-jacking, although 40% of country did lol). No one knew that those 100-200k fanpages will be so valuable now, when like-jacking does not work. One guy (he's probably here in BHW too) has left himself 4 fanpages of 230k fans and using them to send traffic to his website. 30-70k local uniques a day makes him 10-15k $ a month. The website is really crap but companies like that local traffic anyway.
Thats why i want local traffic and what i want to do with it.
Traffic from USA and other countries won't work (would be too easy lol).
I don't need 10k$ a month (1k is much more than enough in the country where i live). The point is if 30k uniques make 10k$ doesn't mean that 3k uniques will make me 1k$. Companies need more traffic to consider you as a good partner.
My experience and tools: I have left with one 110k fanpage so i can get some traffic from it.
Got scrapebox, traffic travis, can use senukex, sliq submitter, familiar with Goo's keyword tool.
Can create websites, cms's, bulletin boards, draw designs, have some photoshop experience.
Can sit at PC 12 hours a day.
Deadline: End of 2012 or when my parents kick me out of home lol.
So a question to you guys: What type/niche website should i build to get loads of any junk local traffic? Or should i quit, because my idea is useless? Also, do you think it is possible to achieve that amount of traffic with blackhat/whitehat free in a local country?
