[Case Study] How Effective Is Ranking a New Website ONLY With SEOClerks Gigs?

Hey everyone,


I am performing a Case Study on a brand new website of mine which was registered around 2 weeks before the date of this post and only publicly mentioned to anyone but myself as of three days ago.


For my own personal reasons I will not be revealing the URL nor the keywords I am targeting, simply the progress I make.


Throughout this I will be providing every gig I purchase from SEOClerks, the time frames of when I buy them, when they're delivered and any other information I find relevant.
This will hopefully act as a bit of a guide to everyone here on BHW of what can be achieved, how much it will cost you and the results you can get.



Keyword Targeting:
The keyword I have chosen has 9,900 Global Monthly Searches with Medium competition according to both the Google Keyword Tool and the freeware program, Traffic Travis.



What I Have Done So Far:
-Registered The Domain Name
-Installed XenForo
-Designed A Simple, Fixed Width Custom Theme
-Created Some Topics And Had A Few Friends Do The Same
-Created A Twitter And Set Up An Automatic Feed For New Posts To Be Tweeted. 1 Every 30 Minutes.



What's Next:
In 12-24 hours publish an article written about the keyword I am targeting.
In 2 days from when this is being posted I will begin to purchase gigs on SEOClerks with a budget of $25-50 per week.

90% of your budget will go to a loss. 10% will be ok quality links, its the nature of these types of websites sadly. All the same there are some real gems on these sites 0.0001% it's just searching searching searching testing testing testing will pay off.

Progress Update:
The article I commissioned to be written is now live on the website(The article cost me $10 of my first weeks $50).

I am now waiting for the article be to indexed and then I will be purchasing two gigs to kick things off with my remaining $40 for this week.

No, SEOClerks is not my site. It's the site I have moved to after using Fiverr for my SEO/Website related Gigs and since I found a ton of great gigs and have been ordering them for other websites I thought this would be the perfect time to set up something like this as I had planned to launch a new website for a while now.



Progress Update:
Still waiting for the article to be indxed.I have purchased two gigs with my remaining $40 for this week now waiting on their delivery.

Hope that is 9900 exact searches. That medium competition figure Google is showing you is for advertisers bidding on the keywords. It has nothing to do with the sites your are competing against on the first page. At least TT shows low competition too.

Wish I got a dollar every time I see that written by a newbie.....

Minimal, so far but I will go into more detail with a proper progress report in 1-2 days about all that.

I am using SEOClerks because I really enjoy their services and this case study wouldn't make as much sense across multiple.

Yes, I highly recommend XenForo to anyone starting a forum. It's very powerful and very fast.

I am now finding the article in Google when searching for the keyword as the 1st result of page 6.


Now What?
In 2 days from now I will have my next $25 ready to purchase new gigs
Once I have confirmed and ordered the gigs I will post an update with what the new gigs are and any other SERP movement that has occurred.

And how many links does the article contain pointing to your money site?

Both the gigs I ordered had all links pointing directly to my article on the money site.

Manual Google searching via a fresh proxy

And a few other things just to make sure the results are consistent.



Progress Update

The gig budget for this week was $36 and I spent to buy 9 of the following gig:

Essentially the gig is a blog post on a blog with a PR of 1-5. My keyword is placed within a related article on their and then each article is juiced with forum profile links.
