Make Inbox Bigger!

Donno if this has been suggested before.. probably has.

Make bigger inboxes for established members.. I think long-term members deserve bigger inboxes (although I am not one..yet) because people usually PM alot for services and help among other things.

yeah but they should be even bigger and I think sellers should be given it too. Many times I try to pm people and their inboxes are still full! My point is this should not happen. Maybe make it so if you get lots of emails in a short period of time then your box size increases automatically or something? Not if they just let there emails sit in their inbox for months of course.

I think graphicnut's reply is correct. There's no reason for a seller not to invest in what's bringing him business, right?. Besides, this place's 100% worth the donation, IMHO.

yeah I see where you guys are coming from but it's not for the seller's benefit.. it's for the buyers benefits. It's hard to buy stuff when their inboxes are full. Just my opinion anyway..

theres not, what I am now saying is that there should be more early on, specifically for sellers.

At the bottom of your Inbox there's 3 links called XML, CSV and Text.

Make a folder on your desktop called "BHW PM's" and click one of the 3 links that turns you on the most.

Save the file to your newly created folder, then delete your Inbox.

Problem = Solved.

I've upgraded the PM storage capacity as follows:

• Newbies - No Change (50 messages)
• Registered Members - Increased to 500 messages (up from 200)
• Donors - Increased to 2000 messages (up from 500)

This may only be a temporary solution, until we figure out how to implement a script that will auto-upgrade the storage capacity of the people who purchase BST threads.

wow you actually took my suggestion.. Wow I just realized how awesome this forum really is! Just cuz i've never made a suggestion before, let alone get it accepted . Greater respect for this forum now..

Archiving your PM's to your desktop is about the only workaround if you want to preserve the PM's and still free up some space. If you're selling it's a very good habit to do anyway to keep records.

If you are getting 200 PM's just while you're asleep, you must have a damn good product.

well I dont have the experience myself lol. Ive attempted to buy 7 items now and ive noticed 4 sellers' inboxes were full. I donno if this is a coincidence but that is the reasoning behind my suggestion..
