Google Search is losing its steam!

About blekko - i have a site wherein i deleted everything 6 months ago and domain is now sitting blank - doesn't even have a parking page.

Blekko is still ranking the site as 1st for the keyword i was targeting 6-8 months earlier.

At this indexing rate - don't think they are in a position to challenge anyone.

If you have seo quake on turn it off when your doing query's (unless you are checking the stats). I noticed having seo quake when I'm just doing regular searches causes the captcha alot.

+ rep for that. That has been driving me absolutely insane. Cant make a 5 minute screen capture without having to answer a few. I like that bar and usually leave it on. I hate it when I'm the slow one.....shoulda snapped, I have Google giving me 30 results per page, that bar must have been hammering em.

Whatever results they give, people are still using Google for search and it doesn't seem as if people are leaving them.

I've asked several 'casual users' for their opinions - none of them realized there was any change to google nor the results AT ALL. They're honestly like sheep - and these are my friends... lol Some of them are even IT professionals but as sys admins, not IM - and they too hadn't noticed a change. To the 'casual users', they are used to opening G, searching for something and clicking on the first result that catches their eye and if that one doesn't scratch the itch, hitting the back button and clicking on the next one. For them, penguin has been a non-issue.

Users are still satisfied with the search results. That's good for all IM. But the current state of Google is also fault of spammers over the years.
Google must changing its algo because of trillions shitty sites out there. But G loosing it from the view of normal user. The search results are really poor quality, but that is a big opportunity for our authority sites!

what's annoying are these websites that are made just to make money online, but doesn't really provide authoritative information .... good job guys : )

Yeah that's right. I looking for some information and Bum...Google gived me site with article and 3 adsense around it. Or awesome title but then just link >Click here to buy everything you want to know< :D

That's the reason I preffer building authority sites. Scrape all available information about selected topic and put it onto 1 website. That's goldmine for searcher and webmaster as well
