Make money via Amazon

Hey guys, heres a simple enough method to make money through Amazon.

Things you need: Amazon Affiliate Account, E-mail auto responder

1. Find a product thats been discounted on Amazon. e.g 32 inch Sony TV $399 (was $599)

2. Go to a Classified website like Craiglist, Gumtree etc and make a post saying you are selling the TV for $499 Brand new and still in the box and that they should e-mail you if interested. Put your e-mail in the listing somewhere!

3. People would be interested since they've seen it everywhere else for $599, they'll e-mail you and ask if its for sale etc

4. Your e-mail auto-responder will have a message like "The T.V is not for sale anymore, its already been sold sorry. I searched on Google for you and Ive found it cheaper on Amazon so at least youve saved money, rather than buying it from me. Take Care! 32 inch Sony TV (Make it your Amazon Affiliate Link)

5. Thats it, and earn commission from the sales.

Its good if you find products that have JUST BEEN discounted. Since everyone else would have been use to seeing it at a higher price than the one your going to list.

This method doesnt have to be TV's on Craiglist but can branch out into other areas aswell! As long as a company offers commission on the product, doesnt have to be Amazon, then you can apply this method to it.

great method, I just wanted to ask has this worked personally for you? Because when buying from classified sites (at least from my personal experience) most people like to deal in person.

Its worked on some small products that were greatly discounted but no one new about. But when everyone cottoned on that it was hugely discounted in the first place then people didnt respond to my ads as much as before. Thats why its really important that people doing this method find the products that have just been discounted + popular to maximise $.

Yeah its true that people like to converstate before making a purchase but went havent agreed to meet anyone, all we do is kindly reply back saying the product has been sold but they can get it for cheaper elsewhere at X place.

You could also stick these listings on Ebay, make sure to end the auction before it closes so you dont get charged. With all the people who have sent you messages asking about the item or have even bid on the item you can drop them your affiliate link for Amazon!

Remember guys, if using Amazon, they don't even have to buy that TV, they just have to buy anything from the Amazon site and you will get a commission. if you really wanted to get into this method I would have a product or two for every for sale section on craigslist.

Sounds like an interesting idea, but how do you get around CL phone verification? I mean, if you wanted to post your ads in multiple cities you'd come up against that, right? Yeah I'm a noob lol

I did something similar. I would post a TV at the MSRP and throw a link to amazon saying "this is the tv w/ pics and specs" and I would get about 10 emails a day saying I was a moron for posting my TV higher than amazon.

I just tell those people its "gold plated" and laugh in their face.

I guess there are ways to get round it by not putting your affiliate link in the email but being a bit more sly.

you can make a site with a lot of product reviews and an option of buying from amazon in each review. link the people to that site and it should be legit.
