My First Flippa Auction

Ok, I've just put my site on Flippa for auction. Never used flippa before but I've tried to follow meathead's advice on different threads.

My site pulled in $250 in last 15 days and infact traffic and rankings have soared after panda update :)

Avg Adsense CPC is 40 cents till date. BIN is 8k

I've not bought featured listing, may do so on the last day..

Site is almost 3 monthss old and ranks great for very competitive terms. Past few days earnings have increased to $20/day AVG..

Lets see if I get any bids :)

Good luck, is the site purely Adsense earnings, if so, good job $250 in 15 days on Adsense.

Use the Featured option Now to have some people following your auctions and don't forget to add some nice favicon in the site. Bold the title ($5) and then at the end before 16hrs use another featured option ($50) to have the people bid a lot so the auction can go to the most active auctions section.
the reason why i said to use the featured option now is the final price can be more than $800 -$1500 so it is worth to spend $100 for advertise and have some people watching you for further listings in the future and even some of them can contact you outside flippa(but be careful in this one, flippa can ban for that)
i used to buy the $50 option for the only startup new websites to have people add me to their lists and 80% of the time someone buy the BIN for $240.

Thanks, it's mainly due to high cpc and near 10% ctr rate, and lots of content, diversified backlinks (used 6-7 seller's seo service on bhw and tons of bookmarks made by myself)

I think I will go for feature option on last 1-2 days only. thanks for sharing your experience, i'll do that same soon.

Flippa must be doing a roaring trade with all the people offloading their sites. Hmmm
 
Not trying to offload it. It's going great, I just want to make more. Need capital to make more sites:)

If the traffic is real and the numbers are real you're better off to wait 3-6 months before selling. Trying to sell a site the first month it banks is a tough row to hoe. You might catch some noobs though so good luck.
 
Update: 5 users watchlist - my listing

@kvmcable I'll probably follow ur advice.. I'm buying content like crazy right now.. Still i'd like to see how much high the bid gets..
