yeah it's an old method but offline means no competition...you can make bank off flyers with the right offer. if you just use a shitty flyer like 'free ipad at http://www.freeipadz.info' you wont get conversions and putting a flyer for free anything on every car won't work cause they go 'wow free gift card!' then they look around and see everyone in the parking lot gets one too.

cheap offers will have you breaking even or worse especially if you print in color. you need an unrealistic success rate to profit big off these.

I have done this numerous times with different offers, fliers and offers in different areas and the same result...shit.

Ill second that, I threw up 1000 payday loan 8.5x5.5 postcards in super targeted area and 0% conversions or even a single click. This can be profitable if promoting local services or something but CPA offers? I don't think so. Maybe direct mail?

If you're going to work so hard, might as well cut out the middle man (CPA) and the actual advertiser too...and do what the advertiser is doing: Set up a site offering them the 100 dollar gift cards, make them sign up for free trials like netflix and other affiliate offers until your commissions are greater than the gift card. If I'm gonna hit the parking lots, I might as well make the offer my own.
