If you're from the UK, you probably heard about this today. A guy took a few hostages in an office in central London (Tottenham Court Road area) and threatened to blow himself up because he paid for a training course, failed his test and wanted his money back.

Reminds me of when I failed my driving test for the second time and I....

I used to work in a financial brokerage firm right in between Great Portland Street and Euston (a stone throw away from Tottenham Court Road). Would've seen this had I still been working there. Now I work 1.5 miles away from there (next to Fleet Street), so I was safe today

I doubt he'll get his refund. I guess he faces being locked up for a while. He threatened to blow himself up and took hostages... Quite serious charges.
