Dear Bing Microsoft,

I am a web developer. My lively hood is in building websites for small businesses. While building my clients sites I'm always mindful of onsite SEO so that my clients can hope for good page position in search engines and gain organic traffic. I optimize my sites for Google only because they are the most popular search engine.

As you may already know, April 24 2012 was when Google allowed negative SEO to be easily implemented with increased effectiveness. It is my belief that Google cares not for the small business websites because they only desire paid advertising. I believe it is Googles intention to make the entire 1st page a "paid page". This would only hurt my clients hopes for building their business with a small budget.

With these frustrations I make a plea to you. Could you kindly launch a huge marketing campaign push for BING search engine? My thoughts are that if more people use your search engine I could feel confident in servicing my clients. I know you have lots of money. Maybe you can come out with really cool commercials on television to help get the message out. If you make this push for search engine market share I will be a loyal customer of yours. Thank you

Alexa:

Google - Global Rank: 1 | US Rank: 1
Bing - Global Rank: 29 | US Rank: 15

Still need to adapt and stick with Google.

Google: 50 billion pages indexed
Bing: 3 billion pages indexed
Yahoo: 3.5 billion pages indexed

They will need that advertising money to catch up with Google, mate.

well,i`m sure people who used to use Google won`t go for Bing.
And normal people simply don`t care if small Business websites are not ranked in top 10 :|

This is getting ridiculous. Who in their right mind would attack google for protecting their SE from spam?

They've tried already. There was a huge push when they first released bing. Then there was the awesome cashback. It's still going to be a while until you Bing it.

you are so right. but i truly believe if microsoft strikes hard with major commericals they can chip away fast

Google's Destruction Is Already Under Way

Check this article on Business Insider Someone is suing Big G for monopolizing the its first page. lolz

"The general issue underlying the investigation is whether Google abuses its power in the market for search."

Google it with bing!

Aren't they already pushing a large advertising campaign? Every time I look at the TV it's the fucking bing advert.

People need to get out more than sit around on their computers using search engines looking for the meaning of life.

Instead of advent they should focus on better results, they give just a few results and those are pretty bad.

The name "bing" just gets on my nerves. Might be a great SE but man that name sounds like it was come up with by some office geeks

I guess you didn't know that Microsoft has spent well over $100 million advertising Bing already...

no i never knew that. but i really want microsoft to come at them hard. it's good for the industry and keeps google in check. they are so massive and powerful and i believe that their greed will hurt the small mom and pop shops.

I like bing i think its better

Didn't Facebook start using Bing in its search results? And yes, Bing would have a long way to go. Google has entrenched itself into almost every corner of our lives from Youtube to Gmail and now Drive (which if i was you..don't use..read the TOS)...
