Client portal with project tracking

Hey BHW,

I'm kinda new here, been white hatting for a few years and decided to explore the other side of the fence. BHW is currently my favorite site lol.

Ok, onto my question,

I am looking for a solution for a site that would allow clients to login and exchange information/files with the company as well as track progress of projects and see history of projects. I have been searching for a while to no avail. Has anyone here had any experience with something like this? I prefer something open source or free but am open to any suggestions as i have not found anything with these seemingly simple requirements. Maybe im searching the wrong terms? Thanks in advance!

There 's actually a boatload of project management sites out there, so maybe the first thing to do is to improve your Google searching skills

My favorite is Springloops (hosted, has free package)
