"Facebook" in Domain name

I own a small site receiving ~100 uniques per days. The site is monetized with a Content locker. Today I decided to expand this site, write more articles and SEO them. It's quite a lot of keywords I am targeting. Problem is I have "Facebook" in my domain name. Shall I just get a new domain and start all over before I expand, or won't there be any problems? Advice please! MadMX

How popular is very popular? I am targeting ~60.000 exact searches per month in total.

So you mean I should just register a new domain, redirect the old one to the new one, and just start all over by creating new content and doing new SEO et cetera?
I worked quite hard for the rankings that I have achieved so far, isn't there any possibility to exchange domains in Google Webmaster Tools, so I can just continue my site with my rankings with a new domain name?

But when they say something and I need to change it, my entire work would be worthless, because I lose all my rankings, right?

Exactly, set everything up so u can change without skipping a beat but meanwhile ride Zuckerberg for all he's worth. Who knows? You might get over for years.

Well, I think you should take a new domain if you wanna start seriously. If you don't have a new domain then facebook would claim you for using facebook word in your domain.

I can tell you that a friend of mine also had a similar situation and got a C&D letter from them very fast! If i were you i would change the domain before expansion..

If your were targeting an offline brand Like Nike as example then we would chat about risks. But choosing Facebook is really dumb. I can guarantee you as soon as they see your domain you will start saying emails . They are actually well knows for that. IF I were you I would choose another domain and redirect my visitors to their be4 getting in troubles. I guess small message we have moved to domain.com with redirect would be more than enough. You keep your visitors and cover your butt
