Safe to blast first tier Web 2.0?

Regardless if blasting works, in my opinion it's completely OBVIOUS to Google what you're doing, especially if you blast at the same period of time (within a day, etc). If you're going to blast then think of something a little different then everyone else. At least spread them over different time periods and different types of backlinks.

Safer to blast to end tier. Build social bookmarking links to your tier 1 and blast those.

haha, one would have to be pretty foolish not to randomize their SB blasts

for me I have blasted first tier web 2.0 sites with thousands of links from xrumer and nothing went wrong. so i guess it would be safe for you too

OP here.

Just read a thread from 2010 of someone saying they got flagged at Hubpages and Squidoo for spamming. Hmmm.

Edit: Also, is it necessary to 'drip feed' SB blasts into first tier buffers? Should link building to first tier buffers appear natural to juice them up or are they juiced up already from the root domain?

link to thread?

Advice on how to randomize SB blasts?
Personally i would do SB blasts at random times just so Google doesn't happen to notice a bunch of links being sprayed at around the same time (ie: unnatural)

On web 2.0's, always add your link AND some unrelated link(s). That way, algos and human reviewers cannot point to you.

Obviously the talk to BHW is to blast the web2.0's, so it is totally natural for goog to build a defensive algo around that concept. If that happens u don't want to be caught red-handed.

They are monitoring referrers, so when you build 10k profiles, and index them all, google bot will follow the link from profiles and end up on the lens or hub. They see this and ban them.

I usually use them for tier1, then do a tier2 with other properties, then the junk links.

Interesting stuff. How often do you update your Tier 1's and Tier 2s if at all?

Most of the time I don't. But I know it's good to post from time to time and use the new post URLs as tier1 as well. There's something to test out
