Safe to blast first tier Web 2.0?

I am wondering if it is still okay to blast your first tier sites (Web 2.0s) with programs like Scrapebox. Or is it best to build another tier or two of Web 2.0 sites beneath them.. perhaps some of the lesser quality Web 2.0 properties.. and then blast those with Scrapebox? Basically I am concerned that Google is looking at what types of links are pointing to your first and maybe second and possibly even third tiers. And whether or not they might be penalizing sites with spammy links pointing to sites like Wordpress, Squidoo etc.

Lastly, maybe a dumb question, but is it okay to have the same Web 2.0 property (say, Wordpress) in multiple tiers? Or should I only have the top quality Web 2.0s in my first tier?

from my personal experience, you wont get penalized with blasting tier 1s with SB. google might know and they might not give you the proper link juice but its all speculations.

I blast my tier 1s with sb all the time and i have not had anything bad happen

Just read a thread from 2010 of someone saying they got flagged at Hubpages and Squidoo for spamming. Hmmm.

Edit: Also, is it necessary to 'drip feed' SB blasts into first tier buffers? Should link building to first tier buffers appear natural to juice them up or are they juiced up already from the root domain?

yeah if you want to use web 2.0 as second tier links also then use different web 2.0 as compare to first one..this gives you great benefit

I'm doing exactly that right now, although with links from blog networks, etc and am seeing decent success. My keywords are moderately competitive.

I am also working out how to do this properly. I just ran an autoapprove scrapebox list and got about 40k links but I still cannot fathom how these spammy links do anything besides indexing my web 2.0's. Of course, I could be horribly wrong but if someone tells you otherwise just make sure that they are not selling scrapebox lists lol..

P.S: I am now working on using pretty much only social bookmarks to boost my tier 1's. Create 10x senuke account creation modules, 10x toolboxes and 10x social bookmarking campaigns. Run them all linked together (account creation -> social bookmark -> toolbox) and spread each over 3 days. Thats a month of link building and completely autopilot. Anyways, just something im working on, I am almost 100% sure its going to be more effective then scrapebox or xrumer blasts (even though I own both)

I recently built about 15 tier 1 web 2.0's, I then SB blasted them. I ranked on page one for about 3 weeks. Then I got hit with a minus 50 penalty. I thought I was safe doing this. But I guess I wasnt. Although it could have been something else I did but the SB blasting to the web 2.0s was the only thing I did that I actually saw any forward movement in the serps. So now I am as confused as ever.

I blast SB on tier 2.. Never had any problem until now..

I haven't noticed any negative effects so far, however there seems to be an increasing number of people saying that they are getting penalized because of this. Maybe this is something else that has changed?

This type of posts can be seen almost every day. If you know how to do this you can blast your money site directly with no problem at all. I saw everybody building web 2.0's ( 1 tier, 2 tier etc ) and then come here and ask 'what if i do that..'. My advice is to take action and stop asking these kind of questions. Be a man ! wtf. taking action and stop asking is not a good advice in this case if they want to blast their money site.... they risk getting sandboxed if they dont even know whats good and what not

I guess build links on tier 2 point towards tier 1 and then blast out on tier 2. If you blast out on tier 1, I am not sure if you really get the juice you need.

Hmm, thanks for the replies so far. What about building article directory links to your Web 2.0s? Or Social Bookmarking? Or anything else but spam links?I am thinking blasting crap links to your first tier isn't the best of strategies anymore. Perhaps Google is catching onto people spraying their first tiers with crap links and have begun to de-value. I am thinking if you have a strong first tier, you may as well build a reasonably strong second or third tier before you start spraying blog comments around.

Also, is it okay to social bookmark your money site directly, or should social bookmarking be used only for things like articles..?

if you care about safety then its better to create another tire of web 2.0 then blasting them. I always do so. but some of the top class member in this awesome forum say that they blast the 1st tier without any problem. Now Choice is yours
