Clickbank - My first two weeks

Well guys, it will be a month since I started promoting CB products.
Checking my stats today, I've $809 in sales.
Though my AW campaigns are far more focused now, I'm still struggling a bit with the cost of PPC advertising. Lately, I've had a number of days where I've had no CB sales (which is odd -- weather related?). but AWs have been costing me $20+ a day. Not a big deal but it does add up and eventually eat into profit.
Going to continue working on this one niche by launching a big PPC advertising blitz with a website. Has a huge subscriber base that should be very interested in my products. Hope the risk is worth the reward. We'll see...
BTW, I've tried some FB advertising to targeted groups.. zero sucess. I've also tried some clever targeted forum advertising, which has resulted in pretty good traffic but only a small amount of sales. The issue I have with forum marketing is that affiliate marketers are hated. If you post a message promoting a product you'll almost always get banned or your post will be quickly removed... so you have to get clever with your posts, and not really 'promote' per say... just get your site out their by using creative messages (which will not cause of you get banned or your post removed) and hope that people click on your links and feel compeled to buy because of your sales copy.
Still thinking about SEO. From my perspective, you really need to get out ahead with SEO because it takes months to get up in the ranks. My question for all the vets... how much time, effort and money does it take you to get to the top of the keywords?
Also thinking about the next niche...

If you create a presence in a forum, and drop links when these links are actually helpful for folks in the forum. you will get some of the most targeted traffic that you can find.

I have to tell you guys this, and it may help you or not. I have been buying cheap untargeted traffic for my adsense site from a vendor there at this forum.
The traffic comes from parked domians and my adsense revenue has almost doubled in the past 2 months. There have been no issues with BIGG so far, and this coming check will be a full month using this source. If the adsense account doesn't get banned this check, I think I am good.
This traffic also converts at exactly whet my organic traffic converts at, so when I got the extra traffic, my CTR rate stays the same. This means that the traffic is real traffic, not some bots or people who have been told to click on my ads. This is simply good organic traffic.
I started this traffic to increase my site Alexa rank, but I have benefited in my adsense.
I am about to test his traffic out with some of my niche sites as well.
This traffic is ridiculously cheap and it might work for some of your offers.
The gent offering the traffic username on the forum is Innovalist, and all I am is a customer of his, not an affiliate.
His traffic has been good so far for me, I have spent 12.00 and made back 52 so far.
Might be worth checking out for some of you for your offers.

Focusing on on-page SEO will help tremendously and there are plenty of posts that can get you this information. Eliminate any unnecessary clutter on your pages and keep your theme simple for a more focused look. Too much clutter will increase your bounce rate. Your CB niche review should have a solid article on the landing page based on a single prime keyword term. Each CB product you review should be a single post with each one having it's own keyword. You should have a total of 1 landing page and 5 or 6 CB product posts, each optimized for just one keyword phrase group.
Keep in mind that when it comes to CB products, they tend to have lots of competition and often PPC advertisers are all targeting the same keyword terms. The sooner you can get away from this habit of using Adwords to drive traffic, the better as this will only ensure long-term success, steady growth, and lower costs giving you more profit.
The third thing that I would like to mention that hasn't been said yet is that it is all in the list! Meaning you should place a prominent opt-in e-mail sign-up on your page so that you can capture this traffic that you are spending money on targeting. If you can capture this traffic by offering some sore of "freebie", such as a short eBook or software package (related to your niche, of course), you will watch your CB profits skyrocket!
The e-mail list can be totally automated using an auto responder to send free information and even CB product recommendations directly to these targeted visitors at designated intervals. I won't go into detail as to which products to use (you can Google them) but there are several out there.
Now, you will be creating an e-mail list that you can send niche related affiliate links to for the next several weeks, months, and even years!

just go to fiverr ask someone to make you a nice video and post it to youtube with your link!will be much cheaper
But he has many CB products i guess SEO to the site will do it is slow but effective results.

If you have problem with CB links and Adwords you can always get the users to get in a list and email them a short review right after they sign up with the aff link in the email. This way you can go through Adwords review without worrying about a ban.

Not true...
I run clickbank off and on between other projects and found the "review" style works best for me.. I don't hype the products I promote at all.. I speak of them as if I'm taking to a friend about how my day went, or about how I found out some interesting news about someone..
When people land on your page, you want them to feel as if you guys were friends for years, build rapport. Once that is done, they're ready to buy, no better what you're selling..lol

I haven't ran into a problem with my method and adwords, but this is always good!
