Talk about IT ! I checked in as if i was a "normal" user and saw so much bull flying around ! First 12 or 14 pins all the same PIC from a given category/keyword search. All from women and looked SOOOOOO spammy. Like if 15 women or more could post the same damn pic all of the sudden ! I ain't talking about repins here. Now some jackasses are spoiling the hole thing for a quicky $$$ Instead of going for the long run.

CPA is shit for Pinterest. No wonder these spammy shit messages are appearing.
What is working for me is linking pictures to useful content on a blog with Adsense strategically placed. The traffic from Pinterest can be massive and increases the chance of getting Adsense clicks.
Not making huge profits at the moment because i am still just testing with one account, but when i upscale sometime in the future i think i could make some decent income.
Just spamming hundreds of pictures in particular categories on Pinterest is so noob and is completely unnecessary. Just spending some time building up a few reputable accounts and gain interested followers is all that is needed.
Another useful method i have been testing is posting the mylikes.com offers to tumblr blogs, then pinning the picture from the tumblr blog to pinterest. This has gained me some extra clickthroughs and earned me some extra cash with mylikes.com.

I'm doing the same by the way. Just testing on a blog of mine with adsense and shareasale or amazon items as content (pics/description).
Building up accounts too. Doing nothing "fishy"

We have the exact same strategy. I'm going for the long run. But boy does it take times and doing sh*t right now. You begin to wonder, will it all be worth it ?

Exactly to everything you said! I've been trying to say all this from the beginning. Pinterest works when done creatively like you are doing. It doesn't work when spamming hundreds of pictures. Pinterest should be kept somewhat white hat. Bots for following and unfollowing are fine because they save time. But that's about as black hat as it should get.
re-pinning pictures to a categorized board isn't spammy at all (why would pinterest make this feature?), as long as you add a twist description to it... simple domain redirecting to CPA, Adsense, Amazon, whatever you like is fine...
Its the noobs that are re-pinning the same ol picture over and over in a bunch of un categorized boards, and adding nothing but repeated keyword texts to the description... - these guys are messing it up!
