What are your experiences with the different Youtube-Partner Networks?
I grew a channel and can now choose where to go...
i dont like the official youtube way, cause adsense causes alot of trouble...
I heard TGN has a good Payout...

theres a new one called "Socialblade" for example...

please help me out....

I've heard lots of negatives about being with Machinima, but seeing as how difficult it is to get your own partnership with a gaming channel, most people end up going to him.

A while ago Machinima approached me by sending a PM on one of my YouTube channel with a personal request to joint their network. After they send me a copy of the contract I declined their offer. The main reason for that is that I already was a YouTube partner on that channel and earn on average $4-5 CPM on my videos (on the monetized views, not on all my views) and they where offering me $2.5 CPM on monetized views for the first year and up to $3.5 CPM if I stay with them for more then 3 years!

For me it just didn't make sense, since I would be earning less!

Also since getting a YouTube partnership is now very easy, I would advice you to try the YouTube partnership and see how much you earn on your videos. Remeber that YouTube, Machinima and all other networks only pay for the views that had ads on it!

You say it was easy to become partnered? But how would you go about partnering a video game based channel?

I've heard you must obtain official licenses, but I've also heard it is possible without.

Yes but 1k per month is nothing for a channel that is partnered directly with YouTube. It all depends in the end- if you have a good channel with lots of views and subscribers, a direct partnership will make you so much more cash whereas Machinima will only get you 1k. If you don't have lots of views/subscribers, but still manage to make it into Machinima, take the offer because your probably not getting a direct partnership anyway.

ok, i got a comedy channel with my own videos...so copyright is no problem...
im afraid of getting banned if i do the youtubepartner way....because i heard many people talking about being click bombed etc...you think its always their own fault?
im afraid of a disabled adsense account...

my channel is 100% legit and i never used ANY services...so it shouldnt be a problem? any experiences?

Try as hard as you can to avoid networks, try getting it directly with youtube! Speaking from personal experience.

why would u avoid networks? and... i got a youtube channel before...but my adsense was disabped....now i made a new one and i follow 100% the rules. Is it a problem to create a adsense from the same ip adress? i cant mess it up again...cause this thing is going to be huge... ty!

Apply for TGN, and read their contract. If you don't like it, refuse, if you like it, sign. Simple.

Great, heard great things about Maker so far... can you tell me how much they are paying for CPM?.. Machinima offers $2.5 CPM for the first year, $3 CPM for the second year and $3.5 for 3th year and above!

Also if anyone knows what the other networks such as TGN are paying, let us know!
