Hi, I am looking to have a website cloned, at least all the style elements. I think the website is running a custom CMS system and if possible I would like that migrated over to WP, or create a theme from the site that I could use with WP. PM for the site and how long you think it would take. Looking to have it done within 2 weeks.

If it's a e-commerce site in prestashop for example, can I edit and customize at my will instead of having all the work done starting from scratch?

If it's a e-commerce site in prestashop for example, can I edit and customize at my will instead of having all the work done starting from scratch? Better is to restart from scratch, especially if you know nothing about how to configure a prestashop website. Are you aware that Database acces for exemple is Hard coded in prestashop?I don't care for the info on the database,
but will I be able to have the stucture of the database in order to populate with my data?
Some modules (bad ones!) modificate the mysql database structure, so if you dont know the list of used modules for a particular site, you wont be able to reproduce the exact same strucure of this database.

To resume, you cannot really clone a prestashop site.
You need to copy it by using same template\css\js scripts on a same version of prestashop and freshly installed .

On the other hand, Scraping a prestashop site is really easy.
