So got my first PPV campaign running

Got approved and setup a couple of test runs, now sitting with one offer and it running along.

No conversitions yet but i have dropped and added some keywords. Funny thing is I keep checking my stats/overview expecting something but I know its not going to happen just like that.

No harm in keeping an eye on though i guess, Fingers crossed it starts to pan out and not just burn through all my credit.....!!

Just test and try to optimize everything. Keep only money making keywords and remember to track everything to see which KW gives you most money and which not !

Unfortunately that was mostly due to the fact that I couldn't get the tracking202 software work for me, somewhere somehow I did something wrong? What are you tracking with and are you using direct linking or landing pages?

atm i'm direct linking but mainly cos i couldn't beat the lp of the offer even if i tried... lol
i have t202 running and so far i seem to be tracking kws ok nothing has registered as a lead but saying that i haven't converted anything so i wouldn't expect it to yet!

I know you think you can't beat their landing page, but you would be wise to even copy a portion of their landing page and optimize it for your own landing page if you want to be successful. Not sure what kind of offers you are running, but if you are serious about PPV one golden advice I can give you is to get spare comp, and download the ppv company you are using download. Then start visiting sites and see what pops up. Great landing pages for the taking. Best of Luck.

Quick update:

I dropped a few kws that where just buring through creds but i felt to general to be of any real value and in exchange added a few url's but so far still no conversions and the clicks have slowed quite a bit.

might try a different offer see if i have any better luck?

just building a vm to see if i can't see what the competition is up too but if you have some golden advice but would rather not share publicly please do drop me a pm

Just a quick update to my progress

• stopped all but on campaign to focus my efforts
• created a LP optimised for LI which is achiving much better but still needs tuning
• binned tracking202 (my server was getting hammered and crashing, I couldn't pin point the issue so started stepping back through recent changes and as T202 wasn't really doing it for me i binned it!)
• wrote a script to track visitors to my LP, capture info and store in db
• wrote a script to track submissions and capture emails and store in db
• wrote a script to monitor submissions and visits
• refined my kws several times

So all in all been quite busy i've used more credit than i've made but at least i have converted and have a growing mailing list. My scripts are no Tracking 202 but much more server freindly and I can tweek them to my hearts content with out having to worry, plus they are quicker

Not entirely sure this is a successful outting so to speak but I have learnt a lot, hopefully i'll start converting more and at least break even in my first bash at this.
