Estibot, real or not?

Simple question really. How much faith should you have in Estibot (estibot.com) and their free valuation? Is it worth anything, does it give a hint, is it dead wrong?

I'd say yes it is wrong. I just tried one of my domains that is well aged, pr4, and has strong backlinks, their estimations was $10.
I would never count on an appraisal done by a bot.

Not accurate at all. Its actually not a very good valuation method. Manual appraisal considering different price factors is always a good option.

Valuations are hard, especially for domains. Every "domainer" has a different formula. Your best bet would be look for some similar domains that have sold and price around that level. A good broker will always be able to give you a valuation, but bear in mind some will quote a really high price just to get the contract.

I don't do domaining at all, so can't comment on that front. I solely deal with developed and profitable sites.
