So we can't post articles to the web 2.0s...great. Does it take long to fix it? I've no idea.
Any idea when will the working beta go live?

If it didn't took me long to fix it, I would've fixed it.
EDIT: As for the working beta, I'm expecting to have a WordPress module only working by the end of the week.

It's been a while since I've shared any news on the version 2.0 development.
All I can say is that it has been going great! After a one-week rest for Easter, I am back working on it full time. I am implementing some features that you fine folks here wouldn't even dream of
An interesting comparison is that uberBlogCreator 1.5 series settings dialog has about 300 lines of code. uberBlogCreator 2.0 series settings dialog has nearly 2000 lines of code. While an LOC increase is not necessarily a good thing, I just wanted to illustrate how many new features there will be in uberBlogCreator 2.0

Additionally, there are several things that happened behind the scenes with uBC 2.0 planned launch. The new website will be operational soon (but will not be publicly available until the launch date). I have also decided on the pricing structure that will actually make you and I both happy, especially you, the BHW memebers, who will receive a special discount. I should add that those of you who have purchased the lifetime license (and only 4 of you did not) will get this update free of charge. Moreover, uberBlogCreator 2 will not be launched "silently" as it was the case with the previous version(s). It will be different this time
Finally, probably the most important news of all! The launch date is set: it is June 5th, 2012.
Beta testing applications will be accepted from May 10th, 2012. Only those who have already purchased the lifetime license of uberBlogCreator (that is, only those eligible for the upgrade) will be able to apply.
I have aimed for the end of May launch date and have mentioned that in the earlier posts, but this will allow me some extra time for additional testing and implementing the new last-minute features that I thought of.

I have just pushed the 1.5.6 update to the server. You can download it at the usual download page. This issue addresses some bugs but I have not done anything about the article upload not working. This is the last update of the 1.x series. The 1.x series will no longer be supported.
Can I still purchase the lifetime license and receive a free update to Version 2 when it arrives?
Yes, but not for very much longer. The sales of uberBlogCreator 1.x series will closed as of May 1st, 2012. Like I mentioned above, the current development is going great. The only work left for me to be done is the actual registration/upload modules. While this may make you go "WTF?", this is actually the easiest part, as I'm already familiar with most of the platforms.
I have completed the user interface that uberBlogCreator 2 will ship with. Here are the screenshots:

I bought this software February 25. Tried it out, nothing worked right. I emailed asking for a refund within 1 hour of buying. I got a response to this email March 9. In the meantime I tried to dispute the charge with paypal and they denied my refund. Now I can't even use the software to see what these updates are. And now I can't logon to the main site to redownload the software. A very unhappy customer who basically was ripped off completely.
Here was the only form of contact that I had.
First of all, very sorry for the long-awaited reply. As you may know, I've had a death in the immediate family and was not available to respond to support requests and/or update the software. However, I will begin working on a fix today. The issue you mentioned is a known issue and #1 on my "fix list".

Well Bo allways responded very quick only the time where he had the death in the family he wasnt reachable good, but that should be normal.
You have user and pw for the Site so why you cant login ? Request a new pw. Then you could download the 1.5.6 version but the new version which will be much better will be released about june so perhaps you wait until that. The older version will not be supported anymore and you mostly will have a livetime License so you get the 2.0 Ugrade for free.

I just kept getting sent different passwords to my email for some reason, none of them work now. Maybe I am the only person who bought this software that felt like it didn't work right and felt treated poorly.

Well honestly, did it not cross your mind to email support and ask "why can't I login to the website backend?"
I'm guessing the reason you can't login was because your account was automatically disabled when you requested a refund through PayPal. Unfortunately, PayPal doesn't provide a developer API that would allow us to automatically re-enable the account if a refund request has been denied. So please simply write an email to support @ uberblogcreator.com , saying "Hey, I can't login to my account, can you see what's wrong?"

I can't reveal any specific details about the exact price yet, but I can tell you that it will be a monthly-based subscription as I've mentioned earlier. The pricing will be disclosed publicly on May 1st.

It took over 2 weeks to answer my original email. I guess you must be answering emails now in a timely manner then.

My grandparent died... if you ask anyone else on the forums who had emailed support, I am sure 99% of them will tell you that I respond within less than 24 hours.
