Who is this guy? and why sell such Sites?

So then, if Flippa is full of scammers, are there any quality auction sites? Is it still a good place to sell our domains?

They aren't all scammers, you just have to do your due diligence as a buyer. Most other auction sites are worse. It's fine for selling, just be very careful if you're buying and make sure you know what you're doing or you're going to get burned.

Took me 30 seconds to realize this sale is a fraud.

Sure the site has a "good" Alexa rank for traffic. A simple ahrefs shows the site for sale has ptc traffic which most of the time is garbage.

ahrefs:

ptc funnels:

I only hope the buyer was a Nigerian prince.

Hey Bigeazy! Great tool you got there! :)
Will add them into my collections. Thanks.

I alerted flippa about this listing before it ended, but they didn't give a rats ass. They just said it is buyers responsibility to do the due diligence in bidding on sites. They obviously can see these sites are shitty scam sites, but they still allow them and don't even remotely try to protect the buyers.

I think this guy generates money on the site because some people are stupid enough to pay for "premium" memberships thinking they will get better payouts, but you can read some reports online they don't get paid jack shit.

Whoever bought the site, I feel sorry for them.

He is funneling the traffic to his site from other sources. But screw the traffic what really matters is the business model.

His business model is fucked up:

He "pays" $7 per click to the mouse man, and "takes" $10 per 1000 clicks from the advertiser.

They actually decided to suspend the auction. Flippa probably only did it because they didn't get the success fee from the first $120k bid.

If the $120k sale didn't go through and was relist, they don't take a success fee anyway. They suspended it as I flagged the auction as looking a bit dodgy - they said they would look further into it and have obviously decided to suspend it.

That's one less scammer to worry about :)
