Today i analyzed a keyword on both MNF and TT both gave me different result

Traffic Travis said it was "RELATIVELY EASY"

Micro niche finder said it is "VERY HARD "

which one to believe ?

Thanks

TT seems to get the most respect along with Market Samurai.

I will too go woth Market Samurai.

Just grab its trial version and check it.MS gives best insight in competition.

I use traffic travis and I don't think MNF is very trustworthy.
Btw, why don't you manually check for competition? I always do that before finalizing on a keyword.

I agree with harry, must check manually before finalize it, make sure that you have selected such decent keywords :)

Free traffictravic for competitionr esearch and MNF for find EMD available keywords.

There is no definite answer. It depends on the kind of niche your are targeting and the type of site you are building. I have both TT & MNF, sometimes the result will vary according to the niche and site. Experience will be the key.

guys, he doent ask which software better.
Why keywords have different competition in same type of software?

Definitely Traffic Travis is the best to check competition.

finally i found out after i fond a keyword using GKT (google keyword tool) I did a competition analysis on TT and it gave me relatively easy and did the competition analysis on MNF and it gave hard (never go for it red sign ) ,Then i did a manual analysis and bought a the domain did on page and off page SEO and now it is on the fist page of google .

Moral of the story never relay solely on single keyword tool and also do some manual competition analysis . If i was relaying on MNF i would have not gone for that keyword

And TT wins hands off

I like Traffic Travis. It is not a super robust software, but it gives you a good start in the right direction for your sites. I use it when I first create a site, then analyze comp, get some of there links, find some more unique links, then from there build out my own campaign for it.

I have both Traffic Travis and UNF, I think UNF is better when giving you keyword analysis.

Newbie question: How did you do "manual analysis"? Sorry and thanks in advance folks.

i use seo quake plugin for the firefox and did a search on the google for the keyword and the seo quake gives the page rank number of links domain age and all the stuffs that you need to know , and did a back link analysis on the domain that is ranking for that keyword using majestic seo (free membership) , That is it you need to see if there is any authority site (if there is more that 4 authority site in google search result I will not go for that keyword ) and you will also develop a gut feeling weather to go for a keyword or not after some experience
hope this helps
