Fiverr problem - Bad rating (Can i get it back?) :(

Hey guys, i started selling on fiverr one week ago, and now i have 150$.
I was having 5+ orders everyday, but three days ago one guy ordered something that has nothing to do with my gig.
I told him to cancel the gig, he didn't relpied till yesterday.
Yesterday, when the gig status was LATE (24 hours before buyer can cancel), the guy updated his gig and told me to finish the job.
I was unable to finish it, but i have done half of the job and right before i deliver that to him, he canceled his order rated me and my gig bad.
My rating went from 100% to 86$, and the gig rating went from 100% to 83%.

I have 5 positive ratings on that gig, and 1 negative from that guy.
I also have 1 more positive on my other gig.

Can i get it back? I have 10 orders in queue and i will deliver them on time, if they give me positive rating, will my gig rating and my profile rating go up?

yes, the rating will eventually go up again

one thing is not clear for me though: if he canceled the order, how could he leave you negative feedback? orders became completed automatically after the buyer leaves feedback, in this case you get the $4, it's not a cancelled order
when an order is cancelled, you loose the $4 and feedback can't be given

moral of the story: if an order isn't cancelled, always deliver it, no matter what, so the buyer can't say that you don't deliver
i always deliver everything on time, however i have push-button gigs only

That's probably one of your competitor trying to take you down. How would one order an unrelated job and then later change it?

Btw, as Honeybird pointed... just keep doing delivering on time. Eventually, that negative feedback will be buried.

Well i am new here, maybe i explained bad....
It wasn't delivered, the status was very late and he was able to cancel it... Then he canceled it and rated me.

If you are late to deliver and 24H more pass the order is automatically canceled and negative feedback is left automatically too i think!
You can message the buyer and offer him something to change feedback and you can also email fiverr customer support!
It sucks when you try hard and you get negative feedbacks for bullshits:/

I think sellers can also cancel the order. Once you do that, your rating may/may not go down, but it's the best option to go for.

There was a thread back a few days ago that said the Fiverr team always side with the seller if the seller/buyer raises a complaint to hem.

Hey,contact the fiverr customer support and they will solve your problem. One client rated me negatively but after I contacted the fiverr customer support, they solved this problem in 10 min. Now again I have 100% rating.

Buy rating, there are people who sell rating in site like ebay, souq, fiverr ETC, for cheap.

Aw dude, I was so sick of writing world-class articles for $5 for people that I took a couple days off (after working weeks straight through), and I came back and had a 69% Rating. Went back to a Level 0 too! Damn. But I kind of like having a low rating because when people ask me about it I can say "oh... well, I kind of have a temper when people are nosey..."

Damn, must've sucked to get negative feedback after all that effort of writing articles for $5. IMO the only gigs that are worth doing are those that can be automated or semi-automated. For example, for my Scrapebox blast gigs I just load the URLs into SB (I use multiple instances when I have 2 or more orders to complete), hit "Start", and then come back later and perform the Link Check, and finally send the reports off to my customers. That's the most effort I'd do for a fiverr gig.

The closest I've come to as in push-of-a-button gigs is traffic reselling and Android app creator, all I had to do is copy/write some one line info and hit the final button.

Lol I did something like that as well. I made an "ebook" where I referred the users to appsgeyser.com to show them how to convert their sites into Android apps. And I put its download URL in the "Instructions to Buyer" box. Made a couple of sales and got positive feedback, then I got hit with a negative one, at which point I deleted the gig and abandoned that account.
