A friend offer me a guarantee PR increase

Hi everybody
10 minutes ago one of my friends offer me a service for guarantee PR Increase with this price:
PR5: $250
PR4:$100
PR3: $45
PR2: $20

I should take his offer?
I think the price is very cheap and he guaranteed that if I can't reach pr5 for example I just have to pay for the Pr that I achieve
What do you think about that?
PD:He have a pr6, a pr5 and a pr4 website, He achieve the pr6 in 5 months

Why would you want to raise PR unless you're looking to sell links?

Besides, PR only updates when Google decides to, and it hasn't been very frequent in the last few years.

I will sell some links and I want to do my little network
aniway if he will increase my pr is because he will do some good link with high pr, so it's good too

If your plan is to sell links on your site after you get a good PR, then I would say, go for it. You should easily be able to earn back the investment.

high PR is quite important in SEO, i know everyone thinks it is done.... but i ran across a situation where I needed to rank a super competitive keyword on the 1st page.... the only sites on the 1st page were PR 4 - PR 6

that said, a PR1 site had no chance..... also the domain age was about 8 years on the average for the first page, so I was able to purchase an OLD domain, increase the PR to a 4, then got the keywords I needed ranked (granted it took 11 months)......

that said, PR should not be frowned upon ;-)

Right but I won't test it to my autorithy sites, just in new MNS so I can see if it help in SEO too
I think that I can sell this links pretty well in Fiverr too and I will wrote unique content

I am nt sure I would do it, google ranking has become less reliable over the years and now with the changes that have been and might be taking place.....I would not risk it.

I think that i can use it like the high pr blog networks, but only for me
have a pr4 and few pr 3 I think will be cool for some linkbuilding strategy

I just want it for create some sites that I can sell, still have lot of people that buy pr4 for lot of money
