Hey guys,

I bought 1 year ago the AMR. the software was easy and realy good. Any local keyword on page 1 in 1 week. But AMR is dead now, 120 articles
(1 year ago 2000+). I search a new backlinking tool.

Any idea?

Like any tool - it is only as good as the sites you put. AMR is still a good tool used right, but you need to make sure you keep your directory list up to date. Alot of sites expire/change over time.

You also need to factor in that there are also some sites which do approve your article, however AMR is unable to find them for one reason or another.

There are plenty of other tools, and a tool which some people may think is the best thing since slice bread, you may not agree. SeNuke for example, some people love it, some think it's no good.

But if your looking for a list of commonly used tools here:

- Bookmarking Demon
- SeNuke
- Magic Submitter
- Ultimate Demon
- Extreme Wiki Poster
- Auto Pligg
- ZennoPoster
- Sick Submitter
- Scrapebox
- Custom made bots

There are probably more, but that is what comes of the top of my head :)

AMR is dead?

Not for me it isn't but like the previous poster said, it's all about the lists!

Many people talk about AMRs dead. Could you be more specific?
Dead because of:
- bugs
- no updated anymore
- the sites list included is not updated
... anything else?

I'm looking for an article submitter. If not AMR then what?

only minor bugs, sometimes it crashes. but not worthy to mention.
it is still updated.
dunno about the default list. but make sure to get your own list.

AMR still works good.

i got AMR but i dont think i am using it properly. i havent touched it in a while

AMR is working fine to me, as someone says, update your list
I found a lot of list in several forums, (I don't remember which), just use the search function

sorry for jacking thread op but i got a question for the AMR experts. How do you know which urls to blacklist?

The whole idea of "magic Seo software" is dying. It is not just AMR ... But that is not my point.
My point is we are in the war. Many of us are doing blackhat SEO.
Blackhat seo = doing SMART things to fool google and save some time. Speaking of AMR i would like to point few things:

-whatever you do try not to leave footprint behind
-spin everything that you can
-use AMR function to place links on different anchor kwd place in article (forgot its name)
-use fresh lists of sites
-never use ONLY AMR backlinks, combine with something else (i am sure you will find at least 10 great backlink strategies on this forum)
-open new accounts to avoid huge lost of backlinks when the delete your account on some Article dir
- whatever you think it is SMART thing to do - do it

AMR is still a great tool but it is not "teh magic tool". If you are doing it right it is still a great time saver.
TBH i hate to prepare new article and everything just to post it on 10-20 article dirs, but than i remember how painful it was before. AMR is just ~10% of my Seo strategy and it is still doing its job great.
Being SMART is not enough - it never was.You ll have to do it both SMART and RIGHT.

AMR is not dead, but the platform it submits to is largely hit. Google has been trashing low quality sites left and right. It takes a lot of time and some money to run a quality article directory. They simply can't survive by accepting free submissions from the public. It's really not AMR's fault, but the day of blasting thousands of article directories and ranking are nearly dead. Who knows, maybe a couple more Panda updates and that will be the final nail in the coffin. Don't focus so much on articles and diversify your backlink profile with other types of links.

So to sum up: AMR is dying as any other article submission software, because of the changes in google. It's not AMR's fault :).
When you use it - use it wisely and diversify.

D.

It's only dead if your list of directories is dead. I still use it up to this day and I can rank sites page 1 easily in med competition keywords with it.

I haven't had much luck with it yet but I keep meaning to learn how to use it better. I have only spent a couple hours with it and I haven't really accomplished much. From what I've heard I'll just be using it for tier 2 links just to be safe. Can't go wrong there. Many people are having success with it as tier 1

its not dead but slowly dying, its time to space out and try other tools because those directories that everybody is using will not work well anymore.

I think some of you guys are interpreting dead as meaning it doesn't work properly. What I get from the OP is that it's not effective for ranking sites anymore. TBH I noticed this quite a while ago and stopped using it.

So many sites have been deindexed and even when your articles are approved and live it just doesn't have that much positive effect on SERPs anymore. Just like blog commenting and profiles, the links have been devalued and just don't give you much return on results like it used to.

Blog networks were the way to go for a while now and even those have been hit hard and just don't give you the same results anymore.

SEO is taking a beating right now and until Google decides on how it's going to weight everything it's hard to say what is going to continue to work long term. For me I'm moving away from SEO because Google just can't make up it's mind on what value is. When you see crap sites ranking above you for no apparent reason it can be a bit demoralizing.

huge AMR blasts may be virtually dead - but it is still a pretty useful tool.

One I have running 24/7 365 days a year.

Sorry for that. AMR is still a good software, easy to use and very fast. Article-Backlinks are dead. Anyone got a good working list for me?!

The whole idea of "magic Seo software" is dying. It is not just AMR ... But that is not my point.

You keep telling people that...please.

Never had more success with software than this year. Every tool I buy or develop with ZP or UB turns straight into cash - and lots of it.
As long as there are enough buyers for the developers to keep developing - after that the fewer people using these tools the better. As for my own tools - I'd never consider selling them at all.

Lots of tools posting to dozens (hundreds maybe?) of platforms including lots of social activity. Working a treat for me.

I have a VPS scraping my own lists for every tool working 24/7. I have been scraping my own sites for these tools none stop for almost 22 months now. directories, forums, blogs, guestbooks, article sites,web2.0,social interaction sites, video sites, press release, wiki,RSS aggregators, ping SE's ...on and on and on....
and like painting the 4th bridge - as soon as I've reached the end of my list - I start again. All in all somewhere between 11 and 12 million sites (many I don't use at all - but I have them).

Still - you keep saying automation is dead. I'll even add thanks for it, because the more people who believe that nonsense...the easier it is for me :)

Scritty
