Question about lots you bought and sold.
How common was that? Buying them low? How come everyone wasn't doing that?
I never even thought about it, but seems like a pretty smart thing to do?

Here is how it goes in a catastrophe

Step 1 "I am never coming home, how can I live in that city!!" older people and irrational people fire sale their homes as they do not have the energy to rebuild and decide to start life elsewhere. This is your best time to get a deal when their is blood in the streets. People are panicked and ready to get the hell out of the city. they think nothing is coming back and they better get what they can while they can cause everyone will be selling the city is doomed.

Step 2 "I cannot believe I am living in this <new city> it sucks here I miss home and want to get back. I miss everything about my life." Good deals still as some people come back and realize this is a 5 year process and they do not have the stomach to do it.

Step 3 "I am home and my neighbors are back. No restaurants are open so we have block parties every night, everyone cooks, plenty of alcohol. My house might be gone but I am living with my brother, sister, mom, dad, cousin, aunt, uncle, friend etc and damn we are busting our ass all day but having alot of fun at night. In some respects I will be significantly closer with my family. How in the hell could I ever think about selling." Not as many deals but still some. New people are moving to the city and buying property values are starting to creep slightly upwards.

Plenty of people bought lots and sat on them. A lot of people did not have the cash to do it but if you did deals were everywhere.

The opportunity to make money was there just in different forms. For instance tons of cleanup if you had a truck and a trailer and a bobcat you could make a small fortune picking up debris. Property had fallen tremendously, but it was a gamble who knew it would come back as strong as it did. Any bricks and mortar business was tough cause eventually the people came back but if you opened you had to wait for them. Cash is king when it comes to disasters. I promise you whenever the next disaster strikes the "beach" I will be owning a couple of beachfront lots for cheap.

Maybe some investors or real estate, when i find buyer for someone and offer buyer bigger price. House seller gets his money and i get all whats left. Robert Kiyosaki told about this in his book.

What would you suggest ?

There are plenty of deals to be found and Rich Dad Poor Dad has some great advice. Being a middleman is not a bad idea. How would you find deals?

I do not have any contracts for that but what kind of negotiations are you talking about?

Well im only 18, and i know that i dont want to work I have been working some job in winter and in summer, and thats what i dont want to do.

I talked with my mom and stepdad and they said that it isnt great idea, because everyone who sells house has some middle man, But i dont think so. So i will trust myself. There are some houses in my city. I could write down numbers, call them , then i would get all info. And would take a look around on the internet where people wants to buy house. and then i would contact them and tell all info what i got, if they interested i would contact house seller and tell that i have buyer I would ask $4000 for my help. 10 houses = $40000 thats enought to start my business

Still there are huge job involved but it would pay off, if i do everything right

And my plan is to take over dentist niche in my country , i would make websites for all keywords who are releated to denstist service. then i would contact biggest dentist company and would ask $20 - $60 for lead. I think i could get like 2000 Traffic month 10% takes dentist service - 200*$20= $4000. But yeah that isnt much, but still

I have plenty of ideas , but i need to start, my parents basicly says that none of my ideas wont work, but i dont care, i dont see any reasont why they wont work. How do you deal with People who dont believe in you ?
