Has anyone on BHW noticed your sites get more traffic on certain days? What about certain times?

I currently run 16 different sites. So far I notice that Thursdays and Fridays, I get about 20-40% LESS traffic.

My busiest day is usually Sunday, followed by Wednesday and Tuesday.

I haven't dived so far into the stats to know what times are more popular. This might be an interesting stat to keep track of, that way you could focus your tweets/emails around the busiest times.

What kind of trends has everyone else noticed?

wow, as much as i would want to answer that question i'm still really new to this game. i can imagine there being a 1k report on this subject though considering there are so many factors involved in 'busiest' time for the week/day etc.

It actually depends on the niche you are working with. You are probably in the entertainment niche...that explains the Sundays traffic. Me...Monday through Thursday is my busies , Friday is ok, Saturday is dead and Sunday starts to pick again..just little bit. I'm in the career and education niche.

Actually, my sites are varied between multiple niches. I have entertaiment, shopping, health, hobbies, etc..

I guess I'm just looking at my total traffic, I never really dove down into which niche is more popular on what days.

My ecomm stores are more busy in the week, usually wed-fri and more so towards the end of the month (presuming that's when most get paid). My other sites, are info sites and there isn't much different between the amount of traffic I get through the week so it's hard to say.

I don't have explanation for some of my sites. For some sites with movies, tv, leisure and books instead of weekends I have more hits and sales during the work days, also for some sites where home appliances, kitchen and garden stuff are main subject I got bunch of hits and sales on weekends instead on working days. And after all, all that is not important because most of the people is buying something totally different! For example, somebody come over the Makita drill machine and buy a set of kitchen cooking stuff, or somebody looking a book finish visit to amazon buying a Camera of 989 usd! Totally unpredictable, so I don't care actually to promote specific products but just to put as more as possible products on site, so whatever bring the buyer to amazon, its ok with me.
