Not sure if this is possible but it would be nice to have the option to disable your signature across all the for sale forums so those of us with other services in our signature can always have it disabled there out of respect for the other members BST threads.

Yes it's possible in any thread. Just click the "show your signature" to turn it off. It's below the reply box. :)

I know but every single time without fail I post and then have to go back and edit it to remove the sig, I'm afraid I'll forget sometimes.

I would love this as well. I have NO INTEREST in promoting anything in anyone else's BST, but a lot of the time I forget to disable my sig.

+1 for the idea.

You don't know how many times I leave a note on someone else's BST, and then go back within minutes to remove the signature showing.

It's a pain in the back!

Here's a question.

I just set up a BST so I added a sig with a link to my BST. Now, the sig is showing in my older posts in other BSTs. Is this okay?

I deleted my sig first while I check if it's okay or not. I'm guessing that it's okay since they are old posts and I made them before I set up my BST.

Agree with the idea. the signature should be disabled (default) only for BST forum.

ya, its a prob for the past few months.. and I have warned few members too, even though they don't have intention of promoting their service.

Nice one OP and let me notify admins and see, if there is any option.

i don't understand something here , if competitor post in my service thread what's wrong with that ? the decision
for the client he/she should see all available services he/she interested in and decide the best one for him/her according
to features and reviews ! or I'm saying something wrong ?

Let me answer you with a question - why don't GAP let H&M put their advertisements in their stores? ;)

Because if someone posts in a thread with no intentions of buying, they have no business being in the thread to begin with. There's been an influx (or it appears to be to me) of people going in threads just to make snide remarks and that's uncalled for.

This is completely different. The question must be "Why dont GAP allow the customers to wear H&M Shirts in their stores". They actually do. For a reason. We can.
I love it to click through the signatures and I would post without any doubt with an ad sig in everyones BST. This is so stupid...

customers are different from sellers..

If you are selling seo or backlinks service in BST and posting in other similar service thread for reviews, queries with your BST signature, will trigger us (mods) to be viewed as sneaky way of promoting their service.

Its a BIG NO NO...

True.Even I sometimes forget to pull off my signature while posting review/Order transactions in other BSTs.Thnx OP for picking Up the topic and BB it would be great if BHW Team can work on this issue..

if you want to disable signatures in BST then make the choice to the seller if want to disable signatures in his/her sale thread or not just a button ... about me my competitors are welcome to post in my services with signatures at least i will get free bump lol ... , still think if the seller sure about his service quality and fair price he/she should not care ... just my
opinion .
