How do you increase quality of a image

Hi, I have a picture I want to use for my twitter background but the quality of the image is not the best how can I increase the quality of the image Thank You

You cannot really, unless you have the original PSD or Raster or Vector file.
If you do have one of the above formats of the file, then you can simply open it and then "save as" and choose a higher color bit (lets say instead of 16 bit color, save as 32 bit color etc).

If you dont have the original file, then the only proper way to get a higher quality image is to bring the design to a graphics person and ask them to design it.

if it's a downloaded picture, you can try searching for a better quality of it using tineye reverse image search, it's your best bet
in your case PS won't help much

There some softwares that do this like ADJUSTMENTS/AUTO LEVELS. You can try adobe photoshop....

Contact CSI! They do AWESOME job with their toolz and skills at least in TV!

j/k.. unfortunately you really can't. Google image search can look for similar images also these days, you could try that. Just use chrome and drag an image to the image search - it'll find you some matching ones. May get lucky!

You still can find pics with high quality on Google image. There was a method shared here , if i can remember is something like this inurl:istock keyword. Use this and you will find good quality images.

But to be serious, try using TinEye (http://www.tineye.com/) to find a similar image of higher resolution.

I have photoshop but I don't know who to use it lol The picture is 1 of a kind so I want find it on google. Anybody can help me maybe if I send the picture to you would be great!! it's a sexy picture

Can't increase. You can only decrease. If it's a picture your dead-set on using, i'd make it b/w, or use a filter effect and make it "art" and use it. That way it looks like you meant for it to look that way.
