It's not worth having to reverse engineer P's complex rate-limiting dynamics for you to earn two dollars for four days.

So true! You'll probably make $20 a day with your fuckload of spam but you'll never hit th $100 a day if you're doing it like this.

Amen... there is this one f*cker that is sending links to "pinterets.com" by merely throwing as much sh*t on the wall as he can possibly get. No unique tactics, no targeting... just pumping pin after pin, raping the site. He probably occupies 1/3 pins on the "food and recipe" category at any given time. People like him will ruin it for everyone.

BUT the lesson we should all learn is that there will always be people raping to the max, so plan your own campaigns accordingly and be flexible when sites make changes to combat such practices.

What is stopping you from adopting both tactics?

Scorched earth smash and grab tactics "break" the system you're trying to exploit.
Then they make even less exploitative systems more expensive/ resource intensive due to increased overhead in newly introduced rules/restrictions.
(In other words, it hurts even the exploiter. Nobody wins.)

They cant limit all forms of spam as normal users will suffer and stop using P if they get limited aswell.

But there is more perspective to this... those who spam links all the time will draw attention away from "followers"

I think we really REALLY need some randomization option. I mean, how obvious is it that you repin a pin with ALL your accounts? Same with following people.
At this moment I follow people with 1 account at a time, to avoid having the same following on multiple accounts. But with repinning this is of course not possible.. (well it is, but why have software if you need to repin per account )

The split option in the new update is 1 little step in that direction I guess... but full randomization would be really good.

Quick question. Just tried to follow 30 users but got an "Error: Denied by Pinterest, retry" message. Any idea what causes this, I am not following an excessive amout of people per day.

Ive been getting the same error, plus "Error: you have exceeded the maximum number of users followed" and when pinning "Error: you are pinning too fast". The thing is, Im using one proxy per account and Im getting this soon after 20-30 users followed and 10-15 pins while intercalating accounts.

I would really like to get ahold of this. I held off initially because I am getting my computer fixed, meaning I am using just my iPad in the meantime, and I won't have acess to using a program such as this until the fix is complete. I didn't expect it to be limited, however. Will you be opening it upmagain in the future?
