Keywords in Domains

I need some help please

If we found a keyword:
For example:

American citizens

Is it better to buy a domain with the name

American-citizens.com

OR
AmericanCitizens.com

Please help Guyz!

When I try to dominate for a certain keyword phrase, I will use BOTH of the domain styles you've mentioned. After having done this in several niches, I can tell you from my experience that they will both rank well (assuming you build links, etc). In my opinion, there is no difference or benefit to one or the other. My biggest advice would be to get BOTH and really make a run at taking a few top 10 Google spots.

Search engines are smart enough to figure out that you have two seperate keywords in your domain name without the hyphen. However Innocent is right, get both and try to dominate multiple spots in the top 10.

The above posters are correct that google wont adjust rankings with our without the hyphen. Use both if you are worried but I would definitely prefer to use a domain without a hyphen just because it is easier to remember and type.

For me, they have both worked EQUALLY well. In my opinion, and in my own experience, you are going to get the same bang for your SEO buck with either one.

You can get good rankings with either. If I have the choice, I got without hyphens as it's easier to type, tell folks, etc. I've heard that it's also a little better for SEO purposes, but that's debatable.
