Why would you need a bot to delete your boards? I think what you are saying is that the popular pin re-submitter is creating too many new boards, and deleting them manually is just too tedious. I think you do not need a bot for that, instead I strongly recommend Pinterest to have some improvements on managing boards and pins, like multi-selecting or something like that.

Hey Gimme,

I saw there are updates to the Mass promoter bot. When the bot launches the updater says there is a new version (1.0.0.1), but when I click "yes" to update, it says "pinterest FOLLOWER bot has stopped working"

Strangely, it says "follower bot" even though I am trying to update the mass promoter. Anyway, I cannot update it and it just closes the program.

Any ideas?

i would like to load a list and have it rotate.

For the popular pin re-submitter I just change the Pin_Boardname to an existing board I have (for example Gardening Tools) then all the pins go in that one board.

Very new to this so I'm sure I'm doing things wrong, but the software is solid. Just need to automate a bit more, but I'm guessing we are early in this game. Most people I know haven't even heard of Pinterest.

I totally understand what you are talking about. When I first started using the bot, I didn't specify a board name, therefore pins are flying all over the place. If I tell the bot to re-pin 100 popular pins, it would literally create almost 100 new boards for me. Gimme4free said his gonna fix that in the next update. What I do now is I specify a board name for the pins to go, much like what you said, and I do it for a few boards. Cuz every time I see someone having a large number of boards but small amount of pins, I think of that person as a bot... Btw, I'm a noob as well.

Hey I am really interested in this bot collection - but am concerned that there are now 14+ pages of discussion and nobody in the entire thing can give some actual stats on making sales via affiliate links. Has anyone sold anything? Followers etc are good - but crazy that you can get 40k+ followers and not make a single sale? For me, it is more the time investment that is the issue than the cash - and need to know, if i invest my time - will it make cash.

Anyone? My last comment was ignored.

Just a quick review:

I have been using these bots for about a week, I started with 4 accounts. I used the Popular pin re-pinner, at first, without specifying the board names. This created a bunch of random boards on my 4 accounts, most with only 1 pin in it.

Once I realised my mistake (not specifying board names), I manually logged in to the accounts and moved random pins into fewer boards, then deleted empty boards.

I then had 4 accounts, with logically named boards, and enough pins in each to make it look like legit accounts.

I then moved on to the liker and follower bots, liked things based on very broad keywords (not targeted to anything, for example: "lol", "haha", "cute" and so on.), I also followed users based on these keywords.

I soon saw some followers back on my accounts, I left it a bit before posting (very slowly) more popular pins, limiting it to only a few per account.

I then used the Amazon bot, along with the redirector script, and pinned some products based on some keywords (basically, the first thing that popped into my head)

Here, I made another mistake, I didn't specify the Amazon link (in the "Pin link format" field), I blasted some Amazon products, but when checking, I saw that the link in the description was my link, but the link for the pin was still an Amazon link.

I realised my mistake after reading a bit further in this forum thread and tried again, this time my links appeared fine.

from here on I just repeated the process, following more, liking more, posting more popular pins and Amazon links.

You have to note that I only had 4 accounts, and DIDN'T USE PROXIES AT ALL! So far, all my accounts are still up.

Since then, I created another 8 accounts and did exactly the same as before, this time just a little more streamlined process and without the mistake.


Important note:

I use Linktrackr to track all my affiliate links, and thought that I could use this for the Amazon bot too, If you don't know about Linktrackr, I strongly urge you to check it out, it makes your life so much easier when all your affiliate links are under one roof, and the reporting is AWESOME!

Anyway, Linktrackt has a campaign function, so you can track specific campaigns and you can create campaigns on the fly, the beauty of this is that with the Amazon links, I turn the product ID into the campaign ID, so I can track the popularity of my Amazon products on Pinterest.

With Linktrackr, you have to use your own domain, I bought a short-ish URL from godaddy to use.

In Linktrackr, I specify my URL, let's call this pinlink(.)com/amazonlinks (just an example), now I specify the Linktrackr link as follows: www( . )amazon( . )com/dp/(lt-campaign)/?tag=myamazonaffiliatetag-20

Then I specify my link in the Amazon bot as follows: pinlink( . )com/amazonlinks-[PRODUCT_ID]

now Linktrackr will use the product ID as the campaign ID, but more importantly, it will dynamically generate your Amazon affiliate links for you, so for example, your link for the iPhone 4 will display like this in Pinterest:
pinlink( . )com/amazonlinks-B0041E5G32,

and will redirect to this:
www( . )amazon( . )com/dp/B0041E5G32/?tag=myamazonaffiliatetag-20

Using Linktrackr will cloak your links and Pinterest can't add their own affiliate tag onto your links, but more importantly, using Linktrackr's reporting, yo know exactly what links are being clicked, in real time, and you can monitor you performance.


OK, now for some stats:

Total Amazon links clicked (in about a week) - 281

Total sales - 10

Amazon revenue - about $4.50

I also use Linktrackr for the popular pin re-pinner, I can then chose where I want to send this traffic, if a certain product does not convert, I simply change the destination URL in Linktrackr to test another product.

If you're a Hyper member of Linktrackr (I'm not, I have the Pro account), you can use the A/B split test feature - Specify 2 links to 2 different affiliate products, and see, in real time which one converts best.

Ok, so now my general URL clicks - About 3000 clicks in the past week.

So far I've sent the traffic to an Adsense site, with marginal increases in earnings, and to some general Clickbank products, but no sales yet. I have not yet tried CPA or many other marketing methods.


I just purchased some more Pinterest accounts and plan to keep going, the current earnings are small, but I will write it off to trial & error, I can totally see this being profitable if you scale it up (after all, I only have 12 accounts right now).

my suggestion is you do everything (your marketing) manually to get familiar how pinterest work . if u manage to get some sales then get the tools to scale up/speed up.

OK, just started using the Amazon bot last night and it appears to be working great. Still just dipping my toe in to make sure I got my head around everything before I try and ramp up so my stats aren't meaningful yet. A few questions

1) What is the purpose of the bit.ly bot? Why would I need all these random bit.ly links. Don't I just want to give everything my amazon affiliate link. Or set up my own page on my website and then give that url?

2) Running the proxy. I tried to setup it up through Firefox, but it didn't work for some reason. As checkmyip gave me my comcast ip. I have a linksys that connects to comcast. Is just setting up the proxy in Firefox really hide your IP? I really need to figure this our so I can ramp up. I'm running half a dozen accounts doing about 100 popular pins and 250 follows per day per account for the past 3-4 days. No issues so far, but since same IP all 6 accounts could get wiped out at once correct. Please provide a little more help regarding teh proxy.

3) I keep hearing about the Skype group. Gimmie could you PM information on this as I might need it.

Proxy support is already in the account creator, make sure to check out the Read Me file that explains how to use proxies with the application.

The Amazon product submitter is a single application of the package, the Bit.ly link generator should be used with other applications where you will be posting a lot of the same URL.

Running a proxy in firefox does work ok but make sure to clear your cookies inbetween changes, I recommend using software like CCleaner to do this for you. The software itself doesn't need you to set anything up in Firefox, check the general FAQ & Read Me files to find out how to import accounts with proxies.
