Rafal - this is a myth. If it was so easy, then a competitor could easily knock out a competitor by spending less than $10. You cannot really get a negative penalty... only your links can get a value of zero if they look spammy. That said, this method works and is tried and tested. As long as you build other link types along with this - it will help you to push your SERPs up as Google loves variety.

So the process has been completed as of today. And of course, you guys start throwing more suggestions at me to spend money. I'll see how this first one turns out then go from there. I'll report back shortly and see if anything has changed to my sites ranking. But for the most part, easy people to deal with and got the job done!
