PayPal and scrapebox use

Is it possible for PayPal to close my account for using scrapebox on one of my sites that sells products via PayPal? I am getting a few emails from website owners complaining about spam comments, and one has gone as far as to threaten to contact PayPal and have my account closed. Should I be worried?

No, they cannot. As long as you are not scamming anyone, you should be good.

Not something I would worry about but if you have your domain registered or hosted with Godaddy I would think about making a change because Godaddy has been know to shut down domains.

I'd be more cautious.

Paypal is notorious for screwing up people for frivolous reasons. Their T&C basically say they can do whatever they want with your money and your account, and there are hundreds if not more disaster stories about them.

An other point is that they do not answer to your questions. They send automated emails that do not help at all.

You should perhaps use an other account (perhaps create a new company, or may be use a paypal alternative) to preserve your main account. You should also prepare yourself to have your account closed unexpectedly (so take the money quickly and do not base a serious business on paypal)

I think so. Even if Paypal were to ask the OP about this (unlikely), he could just say that he hired an SEO firm to rank his site, and they ran a Scrapebox blast without his knowledge as he had left it to them to do the linkbuilding.

Who would you guys suggest to use for a credit card merchant? I have considered iPayment but I have seen some very poor reviews of them.
