Ah I see, I'm not disproving what you're saying but how can spammers be prosecuted with a lawsuit for spamming? Thing's are getting more strict for us BlackHatters...

It's not exactly for spamming, its for the $ that the companies have to spend to take actions against the spammers ie. they have to ban your accounts, improve their anti spam algorithm etc. + by spamming twitter, fb and youtube you're ruining the user experience, and the users stop using the site because of the spam.

That's what this lawsuit is about.

I'm in no way trying to be against you here my friend.

But I had bots that you've created in mind. Also, uploading lots of videos on youtube (spamming offers with em) is against TOS and is very simmiliar to spamming tweets with offers.

None of my tools are available and working on the internet, so I don't worry. I have disabled them all ages ago. I think you're referring to the bots on the BST board which is not created by me

Just another scare tactic Twitter is trying to use on the bullpoop spammers. Any spammer with half a mind shouldn't be concerned by this in the slightest. Pumped over 275,000 tweets since 2010 and I don't plan on stopping just cause Twitter feels the need to caress my balls.

Why would we not be safe? AFAIK sending spam messages on twitter is not illegal, so we have nothing to worry about. The biggest problem right now is TA not working

When you create an account on Twitter you agree to a TOS and that is legally binding.

They're suing based on that if I'm not mistaken.

But you dont sign the TOS of Twitter when you build a bot/software. If this was about accepting the TOS, then the blame should be passed on to the users...

IMO its more of a scare tactic. U have a corporation worth Billions go after someone small. Just the power behind the name will make u shit your pants and hault selling anymore. That will in turn get that corporation what they want, and htey dont have to spend bigger bucks on dealing with more spam etc etc etc

lol there will always be a way to hide your identity and spam these websites.
Theres nothing they can do but make there systems tighter which forces us to
become more intelligent about our ways to sneak through the loopholes.

We dont become more stupid by them trying to stop spammers, we become
smarter thus everything they do to stop us only makes us stronger lol
