The title says it all..

I see a few sites in my private network displaying the message "This Site May Be Compromised" on go*gle search engine results.

Some resources show that the sites could be infected/hacked etc, but tried going through the sources and nothing seems dubious there.

Also, submitting through the webmaster tools, would not help as I'd be asking big G to slap that site.

I see this on 3 sites on the same host....while all the other sites seem good.

Any help would be appreciated :)

I had this on one of my sites that was wordpress based. I looked and didn't see anything and sometimes I got the message and other times I didn't. So I thought it was a false positive... A month later the site was hacked by some bitch overseas... USUALLY WHERE THERE IS SMOKE THERE IS SOME FIRE..

I hope its nothing for you and your site is just fine..

Thanks for that input mate.. I surely will keep your experience in mind.

Did anyone else face such situations? Any other inputs or solutions?

I got that message once and a week later my site was deleted by a hacker who left me a nice note.

I was lucky he didn't do any real damage and I was easily able to recover the site and a couple weeks later Google restored my rankings that were lost from the hack.

If I were you, I'd change all passwords to something really difficult including caps, lower case and symbols.

Do it on cpanel, wordpress and anything else you got someone could access. And don't pick a password you use on anything else just in case someone already has access and can see the new password.
