I am in Canada and our office is actively letting staff know that they can be fired for social media comments and content.

What is happening is people here are stopping their tweets altogether and creating more anonymous accounts.

It is dumb and why i do not have a personal twitter acnt

Its because when you work for a company your basically representing them. If a worker at a company posted some racist rantings online,the company can lose business over them.
