Do I have the right idea? (Noob)

So i'm a noob and this is my first website. sweetproductreviews.com
I am hosting with hostgator and using wordpress. I only have 1 article right now and I ripped it off another site and spun it. And I am cloaking my links with tinyurl.

I have had over 150 hops and no sales. And my site receives about 50 visits per day with about 20 hops per day. But It has only been up 2 weeks. I'm mostly promoting by commenting on Yahoo answers, but I really hate that method because its too much active work, so I am switching to SEO. I will probably just scrap the site and get a smaller niche and even a new domain.

Am I on the right track or am I doing it all wrong?
Do you have any advice on changes i can make to the site?

Have you been using Yahoo Answers as your only traffic source? What questions are you answering etc? This could affect conversions.

Switching into SEO should be done carefully. Make sure you completely understand on-page SEO.

Also try to drive more traffic with a Facebook fan page. Also you can try article directories, bookmarking, social networks, forum profiles, web 2.0, and blog commenting to start off.

Always make sure to have a plan, Write it out if you have to. I've had better success when I wrote my plan out and tweaked it when needed then without.

Your headiing in the right direction, I would suggest you buy keyword domains (EMD) e.g. Weightlossreviews.com or productnamereview.com

Some examples of web 2.0 are Blogger, WordPress, Squidoo etc.

Sounds like you are doing alright, but you shouldn't steal fellow affs articles. write your own!

You have got right idea, but your site looks sad, style it a little bit.
Try yahoo answers(asnwer questione related to your niche, create couple accounts and answer your own questions),
pinterest (upload nice pics to your site and pin them, use free bots from Fatboy to get more followers and repins)
forums (find niche related popular forums and comment on them),
Youtube (doanload, watermark and reupload relative videos to youtube)
Use some autolike facebook plugins or scripts on your blog, it was share on bhw or you can find NETBOMBER PLUGIN sell thread here on bhw(not sure if it still works)
better to go with social and articles then seo, to many competitors.
