Quality or Quantity backlinks?

I see lists of 23k+, 50k, etc... auto approve blog lists for scrapebox, but obviously these are not scraped with my specific keywords.

Is it better to just scrape with the keywords I am trying to rank with and only post on those 5-10k I can get at a time? or should I go for as many backlinks as possible?

FYI my site is new it was completed and indexed just a few days ago.

Quality over quantity, especially if you are new to the world of SEO.

Be sure that you aren't over-optimizing when building links, so be sure to diversify the anchor texts as well. That means including anchor texts that AREN'T related to your keywords. So things like "click here", "find out more", etc.

That will help you sustain rankings long term...

Honestly, comments have been so devalued they're just not worth the time unless you're bored. Most people don't consider comment links as quality.

You should look into getting in content links from quality sites. The big private blog networks used to work really well but they were hit recently. I'd suggest looking into smaller private networks that aren't spammed to death.

I only post on blogs with comments less than 5, but in regards to content links you mean actually reaching out to high PR sites and purchase links? I don't see how I would get these content links from quality sites in bulk with ease or without a large amount of money.

50% is a good ratio, you could even get away with less as well for unoptimized anchor text links. Just be sure that you are mixing them in from day one, most people are trying to catch up now that Google's introduced the over-optimization algorithm update.

Definitely for forum profiles. Forum posts are useless in my testing, but I'm sure other people have a different opinion.

I've always been a believer in quality over quantity. But recently i find quantity can get the ball rolling easier.

Personally I work with a lower Quantity of links and work towards a higher Quality of links in order to obtain more power in a small amount of time. The main point to understand is that the higher Quality links will pass on more power to your website improving positions at a faster rate although they are difficult to obtain. The Lower Quality links are much easier to obtain, but do not have the same sort or strength.
