Little update on Mobile Views

YouTube is extremely lazy, so instead of actually patching the counter, they patched the impact those views have because it is way easier

Thanks for the update SpK, exactly what I wrote it'd happen a few weeks ago back when the whole mobile-view fever broke out..

I also have to agree *sometimes* it affects your yt rankings so it's not a viable/reliable option to offer this as a service, but for personal use... well, it all depends on what you do and what you have to lose to give it a shot...

Me, personally, have totally nuthin' to lose the way I bank on YT and am not offering any yt service.. or bot..

Nuff said. Ohmmmmmmmm.

But I'm happy that you've fixed it, i didn't really try since as you've said the views don't help at all, so there is no point really, unless one is ready to cheat and lie to their customers.

I just wish they made it so it doesn't count at all, so they could remove those people to claim to sell "real views". What they've created now is a business with people that sell "extremely fast real views" that is destroying your videos' reputation and ranking. Oh well

Thanks for the update Spk. I'm really glad I didn't use any of those mobile view bots on my or my clients' videos when all those bots were released on the forum recently.

It's strange one of my vids with real traffic didn't chart either even though it hd more views than most of the charted ones. I would always be able to chart in the past at least top 40-50.

Clear cache or change your region settings to worldwide.

Just wanted to give you guys a little update on what's going on. So I got the RTSP thing to work again (just a few param changes), and sent around 5 million views to one of my videos. The next day I woke up and all of them were counted, BUT here is what I also realized:

• You will not get on most viewed anymore
• You will receive negative impact on your videos
• You might get deindexed sometimes (1 out of 10 times)
• You will lose SEO rankings
• You may or may not be banned, depending which IP you sent the views from (same IP for account and views)

Thought I should update you guys. There are people that are selling mobile views for very cheap (and some for $9 CPM!). I have completely abandoned mobile views and won't touch it again because it only brings negative impact on your videos. I suggest you try to get real views, and not botted ones! If you are suspecting someone of selling mobile views, stay away.
