Wits End with Scrapebox! Manual Posting Help!

Scrapebox is driving me nuts right now.

All I want to do is manually comment on related blogs.

FIRST STEP:
I used the footprint:
?8..15 responses to? ?Leave a Reply? ?Name (required)? ?Mail (will not be published) (required)? ?Website?

SECOND STEP:
Then I used my keywords, to harvest URLS

THIRD STEP:
I do the proxy harvest and test them.

FOURTH STEP:
Then I open the URL's up in the internal browser and try and comment under one of the proxies.

THE PROBLEM
After I hit submit the comment doesn't show up, or the page goes blank. I have been trying different things for the past 3 hours.

(It used to take me $10 and 5 minutes to order manual comments! )

Anyone with experience tell me where I'm going wrong?

Turn off your proxies. You don't need them for manual posting.

They might have to approve the comments.

Just use your regular browser, sometimes SB internal browser can be buggy. Like marusia said, you won't need proxies.

quick question, if i use scrapeb0x to build back links, i should do post comments manually to avoid getting the "unnatural" backlinks?

I have been doing a ton of research on Panda and the recent hits that everyone has been taking.

I have been outsourcing manual links and have been in goodshape for most of my sites after I got hit with the first wave.

I have been just doing manual high PR commenting on related subject blogs. Then using AA lists to hit my 2.0 pages.

Then I hit my money sites with 50 links per week on AA blogs with very varied anchor texts including organic anchors like: "click here", "here", and my site url as anchor texts.

Out was outsourcing everything and now I'm doing it myself with scrapebox....or at least trying to.

You could still give yourself "unnatural" backlinks by posting irrelevant nonsense manually. I think the key here is that when you really want comments to stick (i.e. .edu sites or high PR sites), you want to manually comment so that your comment is actually related to the discussion on the page. This will help to ensure that the comment will be approved and that the backlink is quality.

It's true that even the best sites have some spammy comments. People are also talking a lot about varied anchor text and "raw links" (just the url, no anchor text), so I think the thing to remember is that you need variety. This is what bigg_capp was saying. He's doing a combination of posts, which is the procedure he was describing.

If you just manually go and post a few blog comments (even if they are spammy), you're most likely not going to get hit with any unnatural links. That's obviously the most bullet-proof thing to take from here. It just depends on how many links your sites need to rank, so you'll have to balance between the different types of comments that you can generate. Don't forget that you're probably going to need to get all of these comments indexed as well unless you've got some time/patience to wait for Google to find them all.

I just started my website, so I haven't exactly started using scipts/software or any seo services, I think that I've done all i can atm to optimize my page. so i just need to start up on the right foot with the backlinking bizsnit.
