Not sure if you know but they recently released an HTML5 platform on top of their existing Flash one! Haven't tried it out, just see ads everywhere for it.

I believe Wix is flash based and you don't really get any links out of it.

I tried, its awesome. Wix is great for SEO. But you cant create back links there. Since I cant design for shit, I create my sites using wix, real easy to use and they look nice and neat

It's not a forum or a blog by someone else. You upload your own content and basically make a new website pointing to yours.
