I am extremely confused.

Okay I have read, tried, and ultimately failed when it comes to proxies.

I downloaded Charon, put in proxies and sorted to find good ones in the US/Canada, used the "How to use a proxy with Firefox" thread to set it up. And it worked for a few seconds but ultimately was still far too slow to use.

Again I need this proxies for manual youtube account creation and also manual youtube uploading.

So what do you guys suggest, what should I do, etc...? Btw, I heard about the dynamic thing where you unplug and replug and I don't think that will work for me so I'm looking for other options.

If you want a free solution and speed then you can try to keep testing proxies from proxylists or even try scan them yourself (I'd not scan proxies from home, it risks loosing your internet connection and is slow anyway)
I'm sure you'll find some faster ones too.
Otherwise you need a commercial solution.

Most people start with proxylists like you do it as it doesn't cost anything

I know I can go read I am sure and find the post, but if you don't mind saving me the trouble, what do you mean you can lose your internet connection?

I am thinking, I know what you are referring to, but being the newbie I would rather not look like an idiot if I am wrong!

Scanning for proxies is a risky business.
I know when you do it in large style you are shut down within days, no matter who you are.
I've seen large company servers going byebye after 2 days scanning.

No ISP likes it, you receive abuse mails and stuff from serverowners.
