hey guys I havent posted in a while but Im taking action today for ORM i know this is trending like crazy now and a lot of businesses can benefit from this service BUT im going to add a twist to this method action steps below

1. Buy folder size envelopes

2. personalize the letters and print the bad reviews for them

3. (the game changer) Im going to include a dvd on what rep mgmt is and how they can benefit from this

4. work on my website

5. and use a VA to follow up w/ emails once I have sent out the packets

I will be posting my progress here wish me luck!

Sounds like what I am preparing right now. (Wanted to sent out the packages today but a combination of factors means it's prob. going to be tommorrow or the day after.) The only difference is that I am going to print out a 5-page study showing how bad reviews hurt. Unfortunately it's in english and my country's language isn't. But that might even give it more legitimacy or make me look even more knowledgable. Since I understand what's going on and they might even struggle with the language.

awesome bro! yeah I might include that in their also a study im not going to use the dice as mentioned going to try this approach and im going to focus on one market(niche) at a time and see how it goes we might be able to help one another as we go along this journey congrats bro good luck oon everything

Since you're on a BH site, some advice I'll give you when operating a online reputation management is instill fear (1930s new york/chicago style)

paraphrasing: "You wouldn't want anything to happen to your pretty store front, would you? This is a nice looking site you got here, it would be a shame if something were to happen to it. Definite shame if there was a sudden accident and the whole thing was taken down"

Remember, you're selling protection, and you can't sell protection to someone who feels safe.

Oh man wow that is awesome i didnt think about it that way i will include that in my pitch when they get the packet and call me thanks a ton bro!

respect for taking action today. I have been downloading lots of info and reading like a maniac!

Will be following you journey, subscribed!

subscribed keep us updated i am also looking to get into it

Isn't the "fear factor" already being pushed up by the bad reviews? Threatening clients into buying your service is called extortion and will land you in prison. Even hinting at repercussions can get you in trouble with the law and will definitely destroy your reputation. Just saying. ;)

Umm.....I'm pretty sure that LakeForest didn't suggest that you use those words or anything like. I believe he was just trying to suggest that fear of loss (in this case, reputation) sells.

Yeah right.....

We actually had a client about a year ago who had this same tactic used on them in this same manner by a firm out of LA.

What happened???

We got a new ORM client and the guys who tried to extort my client got investigated by the FBI and eventually a little jail time.

You can't scare people into using you for reputation management. And I would advise you to get your technique down before offering ORM services unless you don't mind opening yourself up to Ripoff Reports, complaints and possibly even lawsuits.

Just my 2cents, but what do I know?
I've only been doing ORM for about 5 years now.

Hey guys I appreciate all of the feedback good and bad I took action today! and you know what not 1 bad phone call i didnt ''force'' them or make them do anything if i could help them i did if i couldnt i didnt this isnt my first online biz i have launched i tell you what im not going to do is be the guy who runs reputation.com check him out LOL but anyways im going to pursue my goal no matter WHAT anyone says thanks and I will continue to update!

DVD you say? What do you have on it? Is it something you did yourself or did you get it from some WSO somewhere? I like that idea as I produce DVDs regularly for my current gig and have the means to make em look pretty nice, but I would want the content on them to be just as good.

Thanks for the idea and if you could answer my questions that would be great too.

I would be put off by that and I would feel threatened that someone is going to hurt my website and or business.

Goodluck OP, all the best. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
