[REQ} Information on Starting a Micro-Niche Network

Hey guys. I have been searching and surfing BHW for a while now and I have decided that making micro-niche sites will be the best way to go for me. So, with that said, I am having trouble finding a sort of definitive guide or at least some guidelines to go on, that explain what I should look for in keywords, CPC, searches per month (global or local?), related longtail keywords, and everything else.

From my understanding so far, I think I need to follow these guidelines:

CPC: No lower than $1.00
Searches/mo: 1000-2000 (but, global/local??)
Exact matching domain, no dashes or variations
3 articles, at least 300 words each.
Backlinks... but from where (after this new panda update?)

Biggest question, is what TOOLS/PROGRAMS do I need? I need to start with programs available here as downloads. I cannot afford to pay anything for any programs right now, but down the line I can reinvest income if needed. I am starting out with $30. That will pay for 3 domains. My expectations are to make at least $30 per month from these 3 domains, TOTAL, not EACH.

Now, I need to know HOW to research keywords specifically for my micro-niche site plan.. Say for example I want to do a micro-niche site about how to blog. Do I go to the G Keyword tool, and enter "how to blog" and pick a related keyword from the list that populates? How do I know how much competition it has? How do I research it to know if it's going to be a good keyword that I can rank easily for and get the income I want?

I am just starting out with the MNS idea, so please do not flame. I am asking advice from SEASONED MNS owners, people who have experience and won't make me waste my time. I need all of the best tips you can provide. If you do NOT wnt to post tips here in fear of them being abused or saturated, please do not hesitate to take a moment and send me tips via private message. You joined BHW in 2009 and you know this much about MNS? and keywords?

Write your articles more like 500 words.

You can download Traffic Travis for SEO but it is limited since its a free trial.

Im not a seasoned mns owner but i have some experience with it and you might need to just read some of the guides on here from the mods and go off a example and tweak it up to work for you.

I haven't lived here, if that's what you were thinking due to me being a member since 09. I've been on and off until very recently, when I have done most of my research.

So, I should write 500+ word articles instead of 300 words. Thanks.

And you mention that there's already guides that (I assume) answer all my questions? Could you link me to them? I've done many searches and I've found 'partial' guides, ones that give me some of the info I need. Everything I know (which I explained in my OP) is info that I have compiled from the threads I DID read so far.

How about having a re-think and modify your plans and set your focused expectations on more income than you have focused in the OP

You will make that many times over if you compile AS websites

People who have experience and won't make me waste my time

Articles should be 400 words at the least, 500 is better

Don't rely on adsense alone, if google banned your account what's gonna happen
with all the work you have invested? Do several monetization system, you can focus
on clickbank, amazon, adsense or CPA. My only advice is just never and never put all
your eggs in one basket.
