I can't be the first one here to have had this happen :p

One of my sites stopped showing ad units (but still shows link units) a few days ago. No notification from Google or anything. Weird thing is, I have custom channels set up, and it still says a few of my "imaginary blank ads" are getting a few clicks. I had a few friends check, and they see no ads either (aside from link units).

So my account has not been banned...seems like it's just this site. Is there anything I can do at this point?

why don't you try changing the theme if the problem is only on one website, change to default i..e twenty ten and reinsert the codes to see if the ads appear.
second option, google adsense forums :D

Haha, how would changing the theme help?

Yeah, I posted there a couple days ago, no response yet. Damn, this is frustrating. It would have been nice if they actually sent me an email outlining why they stopped showing ads on my website.

I've sent them two emails, and it says "write in detail what has happened" or something like that. I do so, but then I just receive an automated response..wtf

Alright, I've spoken to a number of top contributors over at the Google Adsense forum. All attempts to contact Google staff has failed. I have been told by multiple top contributors that my site has definitely not been blacklisted/blocked by Adsense. They are basically saying that it looks like my niche is using a "stop word" which Google is unable to display ads for. I find this to be pretty ridiculous, as my site showed relevant ads for 5 months with no problems. All my competitors are still showing ads. I can only display link units. My main keyword has high advertiser competition.

At this point, I'm pretty much out of ideas. I've tried to contact Google and I keep getting automated responses. Put a lot of time and effort into this site, so I really don't know what to do. It's a huge chunk of my income, so I've taken a pretty big hit. Fair to say, I have pretty bad luck. Seems like this very rarely happens. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be glad to hear from you.

Care to explain? I have read countless threads, and it does not appear to be a ban. If they want to ban you, they do it immediately. I am still able to place Adsense on other sites. And link units on this site are showing.

Before what happens?
