Class c ips aren't the answer. Google has more computation power than we can grasp. If they see 15 sites linking to one site with a spun article, they can easily map the rest of the network. You could do the same thing manually without knowing anything about the backend. That's the trouble with such high profile sites.

Add to that domain registration. A little piffy whois guard is not going to stop G seeing that all 15 sites are owned by the same person.

So how do people get away with making private networks then?

Simple, Make your own network or find a private network to be apart of. Make sure your network looks natural and doesn't use crappy spun articles.

Public networks will always get found out at some point, Crappy spun articles with 3 links per article, dropping off homepage within 1-2 days? lol.

Private networks need real randomization. If you're not paying per post, it's going to be exploited by the big players. There are a few users in ALN with 500+ domains, no private registration, all on the same server. Hard to find the other 15k domains? Not at all.

So how do people get away with making private networks then?

They won't. Private networks are smaller versions of the larger public networks. My personal experience in this was not a deindexing of sites but a de-valuation in the value of those links pointing to my site. My sites that used these strategies have a nice step down in traffic on the day it went live.

Just because someone has not been caught ... it does not means you are not being chased.

Now don't get me wrong. I am not saying to don't use private networks. This is of course BHW and we do want the search engines might not want us to do. But anyone if anyone is saying "my network in panda proof" is naive. In the game of war, you have to know where the land mines are planted to walk around them.

As for my sites that got hit, I am ramping up social media campaigns to counter the effect as a test to see what it really takes to get out of Panda.

Not true..I am part of an exclusive private network. Each of us invested some huge some of money and effort to build these network. We tried to make everything looks normal and natural in the eyes of google (Yes, we use premium quality articles). Yet, we had some sites de-indexed from our PR4 and 5 networks.

You're still trying to trick Google, thats the fundamental problem with all private networks. I connect with hundreds of bloggers to get links on each blog for a little more than the price of content on BMR, basic blog link building on a really large scale with amazing results.
