My first Offline Lead

Hi BHW, I got a lead from Linkedin in my local area, She requested me to contact her,
I contacted her after a day and we set up a meeting.
The problem is that, I have never met with an offline Client and presented my services to them.
My questions is do you have any great ways in which you used to Do the presentation. I have absolutely no Clue.
Am thinking of Creating a presentation in Powerpoint, but would I need to also take print documents?
Anyone who can help. I am meeting with the client in 6hours

How do you pitch to online clients?

Just do the same, only in person.

As far as presentation, keep it simple, and don't be afraid to assume & ask for the sale.

Forget the Power Point presentation.

Keep it simple and RESPECT their time which is their most valuable asset. Business owners are being sold all the time so keep things easy to digest.

If you give them too much information it will be tough for them to make a timely decision. Let them talk most of the time and try to appeal to their own self interest. Focus in the one thing you do best.

Well, it's better to be prepared more than anything especially since you need to give her a good impression. LinkedIn seems to be the way to meet potential clients these days. Hope it went well for you, though.

I find that backing up my talk with presentation does have good results.
Look at sites like prezi[dot]com where you can create a small presentation. Create a small document explaining what you do (use pictures and graphs) and hand them that when you are doing a presentation.

It you have an iPad or decent laptop it is the best way to present to a client if they do not have a projector.

Many times you will not even need a presentation as many will just want to talk but better to have it ready to go should you get in there and they just say talk to me!

I've been in the IM business only for 2 years and I've found that it is easy to impress even very intellligent business owners. That does depend on the business they are in. If it is not IT related, most people are sold on IM. Make some print-outs so they can digest them later on.
