some one explained it in the comments, Its not a real court room , its merely arbitration , they both sign contracts that they will abide by JJ rulings. There is a purse as well apparently 2.5 k each , with the money from the rulings coming from the purse, if a case is dismissed, they both get 2.5 k for appearing on the show, if the plaintiff wins, and gets awarded 1k, they get 3.5k and the defendant 1.5k ...

guess this fat scamming bi*ch just got greedy by going on the show.

I Guess I should've read all the comments on Reddit. Makes a little bit more sense now. If I was the fat scamming chick I wouldn't have done it though. I guess she is as stupid as she looks.
