How Useful is Youtube for generating traffic?

i have a new site. i created one overview video of how to use it.

is it worth it to buy fiverr gigs of people offering testimonials, logo animations, etc. to somehow drive traffic to my site by having tons of videos on youtube?

You know that Youtube has millions of views every day, so potential is huge!
First create review video of your site/product using some
Fiverr gigs that have cool girls for reviewing.
Also create 2-3 other videos that give info. about your site & upload all to Youtube.
Then start to backlink to all these videos.
As well as you can think about Youtube comments-views Fiverr gigs.
Depend on competition your videos may first page of
both Google & Youtube in the matter of weeks.
Also search Downloads section of BHW, you will find good ebooks on Youtube.

YouTube should NOT be missed. Remember that it's a search engine of its own. If you have a product, video demo everything, create 'product development' videos, tutorial videos etc. SEO your videos, and you'll see a significant amount of traffic / sales coming through.

I would recommend you to reach a SEO firm to do some testimonial works and as for the youtube , its the largest source of information and the best bridge for marketing . The video should speak for itself with the right information and for sure it brings you the traffic. The animations on the website is also a very good add on for the site and you can also find someone to write the articles for your blogs and with some more useful information that is updated regularly at a certain period of time.

The best part about YouTube is that it is FREE...
So you can make a project - upload it - get potentially hundreds of thousands to view it...
Ad agencies pay a lot of cash for that type of viewship, and for their ad to be on TV...

So yet it is very beneficial, do what ever it takes to get some traffic..
The saying goes

how good is it to buy fiverr testimonials? if so, how many should i buy?

and, how do you SEO the videos? do you optimize for your keywords you want for your landing page, example. landing page KW's are Hot Tub and Jacuzzi. Do I stuff the title, description with Hot Tub and Jacuzzi?
or
do i search youtube and find out what popular terms are related to hot tub and jacuzzi and use those instead. if so how do i findout what the KWs are to use?

like other posts states it is free! And you can end up getting traffic really really fast with a few simple steps. I use it alot and it has never let me down when I want some traffic fast!

not selling anything. just trying to drive traffic to my community forum site.

For an old site: I used to make videos with my web address ticker taping accross the screen. All the vids together had about a million views. Plenty came to my site.

i just made several video tutorials on how to use my site. i added my keyword in the title, description and tags.

on my site, i embeded the video in a forum post, and added a link with the keyword in it that sends back to youtube channel.

anything else i should do?

all videos have same keyword targeted.

Absolutely, Youtube is a huge source of traffic for some of our websites (not all).

We're using it primarily as a means to attract traffic — and not just search engine rankings — and so far, with the right content (videos), they are sending us literally thousands of visits a month.

I haven't used Fiverr gigs though so have no idea but we generate our own content, slow but effective. As I said, sends a ton of warm leads our way.
